So, I was messing around in Hogwarts Legacy the other day, trying to find this phoenix, you know, the bird, and I finally did it! I found that darn bird!
First off, let me tell you, this wasn’t a walk in the park. I mean, it’s not like those beasts you just stumble upon. This one, you’ve got to work for it. It all starts with a quest, a side quest called “Phoenix Rising.” Sounds epic, right? It is, and not to mention that there is only one phoenix in the whole game! So, you need to do this quest in order to get the phoenix.
I started by talking to Deek, you know, the house-elf in the Room of Requirement. He’s the one who sets you on this path. I did his mission which involved some other stuff, but it eventually led me to the phoenix.
Finding the Den
The den is the tricky part. It’s hidden away, and you gotta know where to look. I spent a good chunk of time just flying around, searching high and low. The game gives you some hints, but it’s not super obvious. I flew all over the map. It was a pain, but hey, it’s part of the adventure.
Once I got to the right area, it was like a whole other part of the game. I had to solve some puzzles, fight off some creatures, the usual stuff, but way more intense. The atmosphere in the den is really something. It feels ancient and magical, like you’re not supposed to be there.
The Big Moment
After all that, I finally found it, the phoenix. It’s seriously one of the most beautiful creatures in the game. It’s all fiery and majestic, like something out of a legend. You can’t just catch it like the other beasts. You have to watch this whole cutscene, which is pretty cool, and it shows you how special this bird is.
I watched the phoenix do its thing, rising from the ashes. It’s a whole experience. And let me tell you, it was worth all the trouble. Having the phoenix in my Vivarium is awesome. It’s like having a piece of history with you. And it is pretty darn cool!
So yeah, that’s my story of finding the phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy. It was a wild ride, but I’m glad I stuck with it. It just took so long to find this bird, but now I know how to catch it again, and if you’re playing the game and want to find it, just follow the “Phoenix Rising” quest, and you will eventually find it, trust me!

- Follow the Quest: It’s called “Phoenix Rising.” Keep at it, you will need to do a quest to help Deek first, but after that you will get the quest for the phoenix.
