Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this Repsol bike thing, but don’t expect no fancy words from me, I just talk like I talk.
So, there’s this Repsol Honda, right? It’s like, the big shot team in that motorcycle racin’ thing, the MotoGP. Sounds important, I guess. They got this company, Repsol, that gives ’em money, been doin’ it since way back in ’95. That’s a long time, even for an old lady like me.
Now, these bikes, they ain’t your everyday scooters. They call ’em Honda RC213V. Sounds like a spaceship, doesn’t it? They use these things to zoom around a track real fast. I seen it on TV once, those fellas go like the wind. Scared me half to death, thought they was gonna crash for sure.
This Repsol team, they got some history, they say. Back then, they had this fella, Mick Doohan, and some other names I can’t even pronounce. Doohan, he won a lot, they tell me. Must’ve been a good rider, that one. Nowadays, they got different riders, but the bikes still got that Repsol name on ’em.
I don’t know much about these bikes, you know? They look shiny and colorful, with all them stickers. But I reckon they gotta be powerful to go that fast. And them riders, they wear them funny suits, all tight and leathery. Probably keeps ’em safe if they fall, I figure.

It’s a whole big thing, this motorcycle racing. They got races all over the world, I heard. Must be expensive, travelin’ all that way. And them bikes, they probably cost more than my house, not that my house is worth much, mind you.
But folks seem to like it. They cheer and holler when them bikes go by. Reminds me of the county fair, when they have the pig races. Except these bikes are a lot faster, and probably don’t smell as bad.
So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. Repsol bikes, fast machines, racin’ fellas, lots of noise. It ain’t my cup of tea, but to each their own, I always say.
I’d rather sit on my porch with a glass of lemonade, watchin’ the birds. But them young fellas, they like the speed, I guess. Just hope they don’t get themselves hurt, zoomin’ around like that.
Anyways, if you see a bike with Repsol on it, you’ll know it’s one of them racing machines. And you’ll know a little bit about it now, even if it’s just from an old woman who don’t know nothin’ about nothin’.
They got websites and all, if you wanna know more. But be warned, they use big words on them sites. Might need a dictionary, or a smart young’un to explain it to ya.
