Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about the 2025 US Open at Oakmont, and, well, I got curious. I’m not a huge golf guy, but I like checking out big events, and this seemed like a good one to dig into.

First, I wanted to know when it’s even happening. So, I opened up my browser and typed in “US Open Oakmont 2025 dates.” Pretty basic stuff, right? Found the dates pretty quick – June 12-15, 2025. Marked that down on my calendar.
Getting the Lay of the Land
Next, I figured I should learn a bit about Oakmont itself. I mean, I’ve heard of it, but I didn’t really know it. Went back to my search engine and looked for “Oakmont Country Club history.” Scrolled through a few articles, and wow, this place has some serious history! Learned it’s hosted the US Open more than any other course. That’s pretty cool.
I also wanted to see what the course looks like. Fired up a search for images of the course, and man, those bunkers look intense! Saw some pictures of the “Church Pews” bunker – definitely not something I’d want to land in.
Tickets? Maybe?
Then, the thought hit me – what about tickets? I’m not sure I’d actually go, but hey, might as well look, right? Searched for “US Open 2025 tickets” and found some * like they have sales. I checked some. Seem resonable.
I might try to grab my ticket earlier.

Honestly, I’m still not 100% sure if I’ll try to go. But at least now I feel like I have a decent handle on the event. I know the dates, I understand a bit about the course, and I have a rough idea about tickets. Who knows, maybe I’ll see you there!
