Alright, so I wanted to dig into Gary Lineker’s stats. I’ve always known he was a good player, but I wanted to see the actual numbers. So, I started searching.

Then, I started to compile the data. I primarily used websites and recorded them, so I went page by page to find the correct stats. I focused on his club career first.
- Leicester City: Checked how many goals and appearances he had, season by season.
- Everton: Same thing, noting down goals and appearances.
- Barcelona: This one was a bit trickier, had to cross-reference a few sources.
- Tottenham Hotspur: Again, goals and appearances.
- Nagoya Grampus Eight: This was the hardest, less info available readily.
After I’d gathered all the club data, I moved on to his international career.
- Looked at his England stats, this was simple.
It wasn’t quick! Manually entering all this information took some time. Once I had everything, I double-checked some totals against other summary pages, just to make sure my numbers lined up reasonably well.
Finally, I achieved getting every stats of Gary Lineker.
