Okay, so today I decided to dive into the stats of the Atlanta Hawks vs Orlando Magic game. It was a pretty spur-of-the-moment thing, I just felt like looking at some basketball numbers.
Getting Started
First, I fired up my laptop and went to look for some good websites.
Gathering the Data
- I opened up a few different sites to get a good view of what happened.
- I grabbed my notebook and pen ’cause I’m old-school like that and like to jot things down.
Analyzing the Game
Then came the fun part – actually digging into the stats.
- I started looking at the final score. Who won? By how much? It’s always the first thing I check.
- Next, I started checking out individual player performances. Who scored the most points? Who had the most rebounds and assists?
- I also looked at the team stats, like field goal percentage, three-pointers made, and turnovers. Those numbers usually tell a big part of the story.
My observations
I spent a good chunk of time comparing the stats of both teams. I tried to find any interesting patterns, any obvious strengths or weaknesses.

I write everthing what I thought on my notebook.
Wrapping Up
After I felt like I had a pretty good handle on the game, I closed all my browser tabs and put away my notebook. It was a fun little exercise! Nothing too serious, just a nice way to spend some time and geek out over basketball stats.
