Okay, so I finally got around to checking out Aeropines Golf Club. I’d heard some buzz about it, mostly good things, so I figured, why not give it a shot?

First off, I booked a tee time. Called them up a few days before. The guy on the phone was pretty chill, got me a slot for Saturday morning, no problem.
Saturday rolls around, and I head over to the course. It’s a bit of a drive, not too bad, maybe 30 minutes from my place. Pulling up, the place looks pretty nice, you know, well-maintained, that classic golf course vibe.
Playing the Course
I checked in at the pro shop, grabbed a scorecard, and rented a cart (I’m not walking 18 holes, no way). The staff were friendly, no complaints there.
- The front nine was, I gotta say, pretty challenging. Lots of trees lining the fairways. If you’re a bit wild off the tee like me, you’re gonna be punching out of the woods a few times.
- The greens were in great shape. Fast, but true. I three-putted a couple, but that’s on me, not the course.
- The back nine opened up a bit. More forgiving fairways, but some longer holes. I definitely used my driver a lot more on the back.
By the end, I was pretty beat, but in a good way. It’s a solid workout, even with the cart. Finished my round, and calculated my score, and I think I did Okay.
I dropped off the cart, and then quickly hit up the snack bar they had there for a quick burger and a drink. It’s nothing fancy, but it hit the spot after a long day on the course.

Overall, I’d say Aeropines is a good, solid course. It’s not the fanciest place I’ve ever played, but it’s well-kept, the staff is friendly, and the course itself is challenging but fair. I’d definitely go back again, maybe try to improve my score next time. My suggestion is, you might want to give it a try, it’s worth.
