Okay, so today I decided to check out this León vs. Querétaro match. I’ve been meaning to watch more Liga MX, so this felt like a good opportunity. First thing I did was fire up my usual streaming service to see if it was even on. Took a bit of scrolling, but thankfully, I found it!

I grabbed some snacks – can’t watch a game without some chips and dip, right? – and settled in on the couch. The game started a little slow, with both teams kind of feeling each other out. Lots of midfield action, not many clear-cut chances.
- Checked the starting lineups.
- Saw a couple of familiar names, but mostly new players to me.
- Made a mental note to look up some of these guys later.
Mid-Game Action
Around the 30-minute mark, things started to pick up. León had a couple of decent attacks, putting some pressure on Querétaro’s defense. I spilled some dip on my shirt during one exciting moment – total rookie move! Cleaned that up, and then BOOM, Querétaro scores! A real surprise, against the run of play, I thought.
León didn’t let up, though. They kept pushing, and you could feel the tension building. The crowd (even though I was just watching on TV) was getting really into it. I started pacing around my living room a bit, getting way too invested, haha.
The Final Whistle
The second half was pretty intense. Close calls, a few yellow cards, the whole deal. I was on the edge of my seat, totally engrossed. I think I even yelled at the TV a couple of times. In the end, it finished with just the one goal. it was so close!
I thought it was a pretty entertaining match, even though the first half time little slow. It made me want to watch more Liga MX for sure. Maybe next time I’ll try to find a local supporters’ group to watch with – that would be awesome!
