Okay, so “Summer’s Gone – Season 1,” right? This whole thing started because I was feeling nostalgic for, like, those endless summer days, you know? And I figured, why not try to capture that feeling somehow? I’m no pro, but I messed around with some music software years ago, so I thought, “Let’s give it a shot.”

Getting Started
First, I dusted off my old MIDI keyboard. Thing was practically a fossil. Then I downloaded a free version of a digital audio workstation (DAW). There are tons out there, but I just went with one that looked simple enough.
The Messy Middle
Then came the hard part – actually making the music! I spent days, seriously, just messing around with different sounds.
- I tried laying down some basic drum beats.
- Then I fumbled around with the keyboard, trying to find a melody that sounded, well, summery.
- I also playing the guitar to record some rhythms.
It was a total mess at first. I deleted more tracks than I kept. But slowly, very slowly, things started to take shape. I added some bass lines, layered in some synth sounds, and even tried to add some vocal samples (which, let’s just say, didn’t make the final cut,LOL).
Almost Giving Up
There were times I almost gave up. I spent one entire evening just trying to get the tempo right. It felt like I was going in circles. But I kept reminding myself, “It’s just for fun, no pressure.” That helped a bit.
The “Aha!” Moment
Then, one afternoon, it all clicked. I stumbled on this chord progression that just felt… right. It was like the sun breaking through the clouds. From there, I built the rest of the track around that core idea. I added some effects, tweaked the mixing, and listened to it about a hundred times.

Wrapping Up
Finally, I exported the finished track. It’s not perfect, not by a long shot. But it’s mine. And when I listen to it, it does remind me of summer. So, mission accomplished, I guess? I named it “Summer’s Gone – Season 1” because, hey, maybe there will be a Season 2 someday. Who knows?
