Alright, let me tell you about this “tigers vs. angels” thing I messed around with. It was a total learning experience, and man, did I stumble along the way.

It all started when I thought, “Hey, I’m gonna build something cool with these two contrasting themes.” Tigers, fierce, powerful; Angels, pure, ethereal. Seemed like a fun challenge, right?
First, I spent a good chunk of time just brainstorming. I wrote down words, drew some rough sketches, the whole deal. I wanted to figure out how to visually represent these ideas. I quickly realized just having a tiger fighting an angel was kinda… lame. Needed more depth.
Then, I jumped into the actual doing. I started with the tiger. I thought, “Okay, gotta nail the ferocity.” I tried different poses, different angles, spent ages tweaking the details. Let me tell you, drawing stripes is a pain in the butt. I must have redrawn those things like a million times.
Next up, the angel. This was trickier than I thought. I wanted it to be beautiful, but not in a cheesy way. More serene, powerful in a quiet way. The wings were a nightmare. Getting the feathers to look right, to flow naturally… ugh. I almost gave up a couple of times.
After the individual elements, I thought about the background to help show contrast. Dark and moody for the tiger side, bright and airy for the angel. I tried some different techniques for texturing, played around with lighting. It took forever to get the right balance.

Once I was “happy” with the overall look (and I use that term loosely!), I spent time trying to make sure the message I wanted to convey was there. I think I did alright with what I had to work with.
In the end, was it a masterpiece? Nope. But I learned a ton. I wrestled with concepts, I pushed myself to try new things, and I ended up with something that, while flawed, I can point to and say, “Yeah, I made that.”
So, that’s my “tigers vs. angels” story. It was messy, frustrating, and ultimately, pretty rewarding. Now, onto the next adventure!
