So, they say Egypt got a real good handball team, the best in Africa, they say. Them boys are strong, like bulls, I reckon. Always runnin’ and jumpin’, throwin’ that ball hard. They make us proud, them Egyptians do, even if I don’t know much about handball, but I heard folks sayin’ they good, real good.

France, Them Other Strong Boys
Now, France, they ain’t no slouches neither. Heard they won them gold medals at the Olympics, three outta four times. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? They got some fancy moves, them French fellas. Quick as a rabbit, they are. And they score goals, lots of ‘em.
That Big Game, Egypt versus France
So, these two teams, Egypt and France, they played a game. A big game, at the Olympics in Paris. People were watchin’, cheerin’, gettin’ all worked up. It was a real nail-biter, they say. Back and forth, back and forth, like a seesaw.
Tied Game, Can You Believe It?
And wouldn’t ya know it, they tied! Yep, 26 to 26. Right at the buzzer, too. That means when the time ran out, the score was even. France scored at the very end, them sneaky fellas. Folks were shoutin’, jumpin’ up and down, couldn’t believe it. A tie game, who ever heard of such a thing at the Olympics? Guess it happens, even with the best of ‘em. Them French, they got lucky that time, I tell ya.
A Tough Test for Egypt
They say it was a tough game for Egypt, a real test. Them French boys are tough, like I said. But Egypt, they held their own. Didn’t back down, no sir. Fought hard, them Egyptians did. Proud of ‘em, I am. Even though it was a tie, they showed them French who’s boss, kinda.
Olympics in Paris, Big Deal
This game was at the Olympics, in Paris. Big deal, that is. Whole world watchin’. All them athletes, runnin’ and jumpin’, swimmin’ and divin’. And them handball fellas, throwin’ that ball around. It’s somethin’ else, I tell ya. Makes ya feel all patriotic and stuff, even if ya don’t understand half of it.
Watchin’ the Game, Stressful Business
I heard folks were streamin’ the game, watchin’ it on their TVs and phones. Must’ve been excitin’, and nerve-wrackin’ too. Me, I can’t be bothered with all that fancy stuff. Just give me the news later, that’s good enough for me. Too much stress watchin’ live, heart can’t take it.
Heard it on the News
I heard about it on the news, you know, on that there radio thing. They were talkin’ ’bout it, gettin’ all excited. Egypt this, France that. Handball this, Olympics that. Blah, blah, blah. But I got the gist of it. Them Egyptians did good, even if they didn’t win.
Next Game, Gonna Be Exciting
So, they gonna play again, I reckon. Egypt and France, round two. Gonna be another good one, I betcha. Them Egyptians, they ain’t gonna give up easy. They’ll be trainin’ hard, eatin’ their Wheaties, gettin’ ready to rumble. And them French, they’ll be ready too. Gonna be a battle, that’s for sure.
Egypt’s Got a Chance, I Say
Some folks say France is gonna win, ‘cause they won them gold medals before. But I say, don’t count Egypt out. Them boys got heart, they got spirit. And they got that fire in their bellies, you know what I mean? They wanna win, just as bad as them French boys. So, it could go either way. That’s what makes it excitin’, see?

They played on July 31st, that’s what I heard. If they play again, I’ll be listenin’ for the news, cheerin’ on them Egyptians. Go Egypt, go! Show them French what you’re made of! Throw that ball hard, run fast, and don’t let ‘em score no goals! That’s the way to do it, I tell ya. That’s the way to win.

They talk about head-to-head and stats. I don’t know much about that fancy talk. But I know this, Egypt boys are strong and can play good handball. They played hard, that’s all that matters to me. Win or lose, they make us proud.
