So, the other day, I got this urge, you know? I just had to rewatch that old Top Gear bit with Michael Jordan. Don’t ask me why, maybe just felt like seeing something familiar, something real chill.

Finding the Darn Thing
First off, actually finding it wasn’t as simple as just typing it into a search bar. Well, it was, but you get all sorts of junk. I remembered it was one of those “Star in a Reasonably Priced Car” segments. But which season? Which episode? My memory’s not what it used to be.
I started digging through some old bookmarks I had, thinking maybe I saved it somewhere. No luck there. Just a bunch of dead ends, mostly.
Then I tried searching specifically for the car they used back then. What was it? Ah, right, the Kia Cee’d, the red one. So I searched for “Jordan Top Gear Kia Cee’d lap”. That narrowed it down a bit. Found a few clips, mostly short ones, grainy things uploaded ages ago.
Getting Frustrated
Honestly, it was getting a bit annoying. I didn’t want just the lap; I wanted the interview bit too. Clarkson sitting there, chatting with MJ. That was the good part, the relaxed bit. Seeing this global superstar just talking cars, messing about on the track.

- Tried different video sites.
- Scrolled through endless fan forums.
- Even looked at some old Top Gear episode guides I found online.
Finally Watching It
Eventually, after maybe half an hour of clicking around, I stumbled upon a decent quality version of the whole segment. Someone had actually pieced it together properly. Phew.
So I sat back and watched it. Took me right back. Jordan seemed pretty cool, didn’t take himself too seriously. He talked about his bikes, his cars, the usual stuff. And his lap time? Pretty decent, actually, especially for a tall guy crammed into that little Kia. He was competitive, you could see that, even just driving around their little track.
Was it Worth It?
Yeah, I guess so. It was just a simple thing, watching an old TV clip. Nothing earth-shattering. But it scratched that itch. It’s funny how you get these ideas in your head, these little missions to find something specific from the past. Took more effort than I thought it would, but felt good to finally track it down and just watch it. Job done.
