Listen up, y’all. We gotta talk about somethin’ serious, somethin’ that makes my blood boil. It’s about them horses, them beautiful creatures, and how some folks treat ’em like dirt. We gonna talk about horse bestial, though I don’t even like sayin’ that nasty word. It means treatin’ horses bad, real bad.

Now, I ain’t no fancy expert, but I know wrong from right. And treatin’ a horse bad? That’s just plain wrong. I seen some things, heard some things, and it ain’t pretty. We gotta know what to look for, you hear?
- Skinny as a rail: If a horse looks like it ain’t et in a month, ribs stickin’ out, that’s a bad sign. Horses need food, just like us.
- Sick and coughin’: If a horse is always coughin’, snot runnin’ from its nose, somethin’ ain’t right. Maybe it needs a doctor, or maybe it ain’t bein’ cared for proper.
- Wounds and sores: If a horse got cuts and bruises all over, and nobody’s tendin’ to ’em, that’s neglect. Animals feel pain too, you know.
- No shelter: Horses can’t be out in the rain and snow all the time. They need a place to get warm, a place to get out of the sun. No roof over their head? That’s cruel.
- Dirty livin’: If a horse is standin’ in its own poop and pee all day, that ain’t healthy. Cleanin’ up after animals, that’s just common sense.
Seein’ this stuff makes me wanna cry, makes me wanna holler. These horses, they depend on us. They work for us, they give us joy, and we gotta give somethin’ back. We gotta treat ’em with kindness, with respect.
Now, some folks might say, “It ain’t my business.” But I say it is our business. We all gotta look out for each other, and that includes them animals. If you see somethin’, say somethin’. Don’t just stand there and let it happen. You see a horse bein’ treated bad, you gotta report it. There’s people who can help, people who can make things right.
Recognizing this mistreatment, that’s the first step. You gotta open your eyes, you gotta pay attention. Don’t just walk on by, thinkin’ it ain’t your problem. It is your problem. It’s everybody’s problem.
And don’t be scared to speak up. I know some folks are afraid of gettin’ involved, afraid of makin’ trouble. But what’s worse, makin’ a little trouble or lettin’ an animal suffer? I’ll tell you what’s worse. Lettin’ that animal suffer.

Sometimes, it ain’t even on purpose. Sometimes folks just don’t know no better. Maybe they grew up thinkin’ it’s okay to treat animals rough. But that don’t make it right. We gotta teach ’em, gotta show ’em a better way. We have a responsibility.
Reporting what you see, that’s important too. There are places you can call, people you can talk to. The vet, the animal shelter, even the police. They can investigate, they can step in and help. Don’t think your eyes are playin’ tricks on ya. If it looks bad, it probably is bad.
Remember, horses are majestic animals. They helped us build our world, from farmin’ to travelin’. They deserve our respect and our kindness. Don’t let ’em down. Don’t let ’em suffer in silence. Be their voice, be their protector.
And it ain’t just about horses, you know. It’s about all animals. Dogs, cats, cows, chickens… they all deserve to be treated right. It’s about havin’ a heart, havin’ compassion. It’s about doin’ what’s right, even when it’s hard.
So next time you see a horse, take a good look. See if it’s healthy, see if it’s happy. And if it ain’t, do somethin’ about it. Don’t be a bystander. Be a hero. Be the person that makes a difference. Animal abuse is a stain on our souls, and we gotta wash it clean.

Think about it. Would you want to be treated that way? Would you want to be hungry, thirsty, and in pain? Of course not. So why should any animal have to go through that? It’s simple, really. Treat others the way you want to be treated. And that goes for animals too.
Now, I ain’t sayin’ it’s easy. Sometimes it’s hard to stand up, hard to speak out. But it’s the right thing to do. And in the end, that’s all that matters. Doin’ what’s right. Protectin’ the innocent. Bein’ a good person. That’s what it’s all about.
So let’s all do our part. Let’s keep our eyes open, let’s speak up when we see somethin’ wrong, and let’s make sure that all animals are treated with the respect and kindness they deserve. It’s up to us, y’all. It’s up to us.
