Alright, listen up, y’all. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this here “avl 2023 valorant” thing, whatever that is. My grandson, that young whippersnapper, he’s always yellin’ ’bout it. Somethin’ ’bout shootin’ and teams and… well, I don’t rightly understand it all, but I’ll tell ya what I know.
What is this “Valorant” thing anyway?
Seems like it’s one o’ them computer games the young’uns are always playin’. My grandson says it’s a “shooter” game, which sounds mighty dangerous to me, but he assures me it’s all pretend. They got these characters with special powers, and they go ’round shootin’ at each other on different maps. He says there’s this big tournament thing called “avl 2023,” must be some kind of fancy shindig.
Keepin’ your computer from blowin’ up
Now, this here game, it uses a lot of juice from your computer, kinda like when I’m runnin’ the washin’ machine and the oven at the same time. The computer gets hot, real hot, and if it ain’t got enough air flowin’ through it, it could get messed up. So, my grandson, he’s always fussin’ about keepin’ the thing clean. He says dust is the devil, cloggin’ up the fans and makin’ the computer overheat. He gets in there with them little air cans and sprays everything out. Says it’s important, keeps the thing runnin’ smooth. He told me, “Grandma, you gotta keep the fans clean and air flowin’, or the computer will go kaput!”. So I guess, cleanin’ is important.
- Cleanin’ is important
- Too much dust is bad
- Keep the air flowin’
What’s this “Offseason” they’re always talkin’ about?

Seems like there’s a time when the official games ain’t happenin’, they call it the “offseason”. But these young’uns, they just can’t get enough shootin’, so they have these other tournaments, organized by different folks. My grandson says it’s a way to keep the competition goin’ even when the main season is over. He’s always watchin’ these matches, yellin’ at the screen, and I heard him say somethin’ about “SEN lookin’ better with every match”. Don’t know what that means, but sounds like some team is gettin’ good.
The Grand Finale and stayin’ updated
Then there’s this “Grand Finale” thing. Sounds important. My grandson, he’s glued to the screen when these matches are on, even skips his chores sometimes. He don’t wanna miss it. There’s this thing called “Afreeca TV Valorant League” that’s supposed to be comin’ to a close, and folks are excited about it, especially this Paper Rex and Sentinels teams. He’s always checkin’ online, tryin’ to find out when the matches are and who’s playin’. He said there is some “2023 Offseason Events leaked” news he needs to catch up on. He wants to stay in the loop, see who’s gonna win it all, I guess. He told me, “Grandma, you gotta stay up to date!”. So, I guess if you’re into this here valorant thing, you gotta pay attention to the schedule.
Teams and stuff
Now, there’s a bunch of teams, I can’t keep track of ’em all. But my grandson, he knows ’em all. He talks about Sentinels, Paper Rex, and a bunch of others. He says some teams are better than others, and some players are real stars. It’s like them baseball teams he used to watch, I guess, but with more shootin’ and less runnin’ around.

Why they play this game, I’ll never know
Honestly, I don’t see the appeal. Seems like a lot of noise and fuss to me. But these young’uns, they love it. They sit there for hours, starin’ at the screen, clickin’ away. My grandson says it’s about strategy and teamwork, but all I see is a bunch of pixels flashin’ on the screen. He says it’s exciting and competitive, but I think he’s just wastin’ his time. I tell him he should be out in the garden, helpin’ me with the tomatoes, but he just shakes his head and goes back to his shootin’. Kids these days, I tell ya.
So, that’s what I know ‘bout “avl 2023 valorant”
It’s a shootin’ game, the computer needs to stay cool and clean, there’s an offseason with tournaments, there’s a Grand Finale, and lots of teams and players to keep track of. If you’re into that kinda thing, I guess it’s excitin’. Me, I’ll stick to my garden and my soap operas. But at least now, when my grandson starts ramblin’ on about “avl 2023 valorant,” I won’t be completely clueless. I can nod my head and pretend I understand, even if I don’t have a lick of what it is.
More things about the game

From what I heard from my grandson, this valorant thing ain’t just about shootin’. There’s somethin’ called “agents” and each got special powers. Some can throw smokescreens, others can heal their teammates. It sounds mighty complicated to me, like one of them fancy card games with all them rules you gotta remember. He said you need to know what all the agents can do, and you need to work together with your team to win. He says if one of the teammates is a beginner, he would tell him to “just play support agents”. Sounds like they all depend on each other. He told me that communication is important, just like when we are doin’ farm work, everyone needs to know what their job is. If one messes up, the whole thing goes wrong, and no tomatoes to eat.
And then there’s the maps. Seems like they play on different places, each with its own layout and challenges. Some maps are big and open, others are small and cramped. My grandson, he knows all the maps, he knows where to hide, where to attack, where to defend. He says it’s important to know the maps, or you’ll get lost and get shot. Well, that sounds like good advice for life in general, I guess.
So there you have it. Everything this old lady knows about “avl 2023 valorant”. It ain’t much, but it’s somethin’. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my tomatoes. Them young’uns and their games, they can keep ’em. I’ll stick to the things I understand.
