They don’t do that no more. Guess folks didn’t like the gun part. Now they got that arrowhead thing, looks kinda like a pointy hat, just like on their helmets. Much simpler, I reckon.
Remembering Derrick Thomas
Folks keep talkin’ about Derrick Thomas being one of the best ever. A “pass rusher,” they call him. Means he was good at gettin’ to the fella throwin’ the ball, I think. They say he was fast and strong, and nobody could stop him. He played hard, that’s for sure. And folks remember him for it. They even make special shirts with his name and number on ’em. “Retired Player Replica Jersey,” they call it. Fancy words for a fancy shirt, I guess.
