I don’t know much ’bout fancy sports and all that, but I do know when them boys are playin’ ’cause the whole town gets a buzzin’. Makes me wonder what the Derry Varsity Football team thinks about all that travelling.

It tells ya who’s on the team, what positions they play, and all that. Honestly, I can’t keep track of all them names and numbers, too much for this old brain. And they got these “coaches” too, fellas who tell the boys what to do. I guess that’s important, gotta have someone in charge, or them young’uns would be runnin’ around like chickens with their heads cut off. Seems like they got plenty of folks involved in this whole football thing. And the parents, oh lordy, they get even more worked up than the players sometimes. Yellin’ and cheerin’, bless their hearts.
