This year’s blgs finals, oh my goodness, it’s a big deal! Lots of folks are talking about it. You know, like that big fair we had last year, but with more young folks and their computer games. My grandson, he’s always on that computer. I think he knows something about this whole BLG thing.

So, I heard these young fellas, Bin and Elk, they played many many games this year. Almost 200! Can you believe that? My old bones ache just thinking about it. Back in my day, we worked in the fields all day, that was our game. And this other fella, Xun, he’s not far behind. They all played a whole heap of games to get to this BLG thing. It’s like they are harvesting crops but on the computer.
- Bin – played a lot of games
- Elk – played a lot of games, too
- Xun – played almost as many
I heard on the radio that it’s like a big competition, this BLG finals. Like when we used to have the watermelon-eating contest at the summer festival. Except these young’uns are playing on their computers. They said it is on this Saturday. This League of Legends thing. And it is between T1 and that BLG. Sounds like gibberish to me, but the young folks sure are excited.
They said BLG was winning at first. They won one game, then lost one, then won again! Like a tug-of-war, back and forth. They got two wins and only one loss. Then, there was this Lee somebody, sounds like a handful, that fella. Made it hard for them in the fourth game. I don’t understand these games, but it sounds mighty exciting!
These BLG boys, they had to go up against some other fellas called Weibo Gaming, WBG, or something like that. That was before this big BLG final. It’s like climbing a mountain, you gotta beat those other teams to get to the top. And they did! They beat them good.
BLG won that one, 2-1. It was like watching my rooster chase the hens. One clear winner! They say it wasn’t even close. BLG just ran all over them. Made me think, maybe these computer games ain’t so bad after all.

My grandson, he keeps going on about “damage” and “gold” and some “jungle” thing. I think it’s like when we used to hunt for wild yams. You gotta know where to look. He gets so excited, bless his heart. He says it’s all about working together, like a good team of oxen pulling a plow.
I reckon this BLG finals is a big thing for these young people. Like when we used to wait all year for the harvest festival. It’s their time to shine, to show what they can do. And they are some good kids, all those BLG players. My grandson always tell me that they pratice a lot, just like we did with our crops.
This whole thing, it is just something else. Reminds me of the time Old Man Hemmingsworth bet his whole pig on a game of dominoes. High stakes, just like this blgs finals thing. These youngsters, they’re gambling with their time, trying to win. It’s a big thing for them, that’s for sure.
I don’t know much about this League of Legends stuff. But I do know that it takes work to be good at something. Just like growing the biggest pumpkin at the county fair, it takes time, patience, and a whole lot of effort. So, these BLG boys, they must be doing something right to get to the BLG finals.
Anyway, I hope those BLG boys do well. It’s always good to see young people working hard and doing good. Even if it’s just on those darn computers. Maybe it is a new time. A new era. Maybe these computer games are not that bad. Well, I still prefer a good game of cards myself, but who am I to judge? Good luck to them, I say. Good luck to those BLG boys in the BLG finals!
