That Dewey Cooper, he’s a big name, you know. Big name in that boxing thing. I heard he’s from Los Angeles, that big city place. He did that Muay Thai when he was young. You know, that kickin’ and punchin’ stuff. Then he went to Las Vegas, where all the lights are. Met some guy named Nick, they say he’s good. Dewey, he got real good, won some big ol’ fights. Some titles, they call ’em. USMTF and UKC, sound fancy, huh?

He’s a tough one, that Dewey. Heard he was in that fightin’ for a long, long time. I don’t know what they call “combat sports”. It is just fightin’, ain’t it? That Dewey Cooper, he knows how to fight. He got some kinda system, “Black Kobra Striking”. Sounds scary, don’t it? I heard he won ten of them big world titles with it! Ten! Can you believe it?
He helps other folks learn how to fight, too. He’s a teacher, a coach, whatever they call it. There’s this one fella, Francis, big strong fella. Dewey, he taught him how to box. They say Francis got a coach too, Nicsick. This Nicsick guy, he wasn’t there all the time. He got his own place, Xtreme Couture. But that Dewey Cooper, he was the head coach, the big boss, for that Francis’ boxing training. They say Dewey, he ran the whole thing.
And that Jessica, “Ragin” they call her. She’s a woman, but she fights! Eight times, she won somethin’. Dewey teaches her too, she is a striking coach now. Dewey, he sure knows how to pick ’em. They are both under that Black Kobra thing.
This Francis fella, he put somethin’ on the internet. Said happy birthday to Dewey. Showed some pictures, them two, lookin’ all tough. They are close, like family, I reckon. That Dewey Cooper, he’s got friends all over. This is what them young people call “social media”.
- Dewey Cooper, he’s a big shot in boxing.
- He did that Muay Thai when he was a kid.
- He won a bunch of fights, got some titles.
- He’s got that Black Kobra thing, won ten world titles.
- He teaches other folks how to fight, like that Francis fella.
- He’s got a friend called Jessica, she’s a fighter, too.
- Francis said happy birthday to Dewey on the internet.
I heard Dewey was trainin’ in Las Vegas. Big place, lots of lights. They got all them casinos there, where folks go to lose their money. Not for me, no sir. I’d rather keep my money in my mattress. But Dewey, he made a name for himself there. Became a big shot. He’s a boxing coach now.

They say he’s one of the best. One of the best trainers in the whole world. Trained a whole bunch of champions. Twenty-two, I heard. That’s a lot of fighters. He must be somethin’ special. That Eddie Futch, they say he’s a legend. He trained a lot of champions too. Maybe Dewey learned from him, you think? Could be.
I don’t know much about this boxin’ stuff, but it sure sounds rough. All that punchin’ and gettin’ punched. Not for me, no sir. But that Dewey Cooper, he seems to know what he’s doin’. He’s made a good life for himself, that’s for sure. Heard he was a fighter himself, once upon a time. Now he teaches others. That’s good. Passin’ on the knowledge, as they say.
He must be gettin’ on in years, that Dewey. But still goin’ strong, I reckon. Teachin’ them young folks how to fight. Keepin’ busy. That’s the way to do it. You gotta keep movin’, or you’ll rust. Like an old tractor in the field.
Well, that’s all I know about that Dewey Cooper. He’s a big name in that boxin’ world. A real somebody. From Los Angeles to Las Vegas, he’s made his mark. He is the best boxing coach. And that Black Kobra thing, it sounds like somethin’ else. Ten world titles, you say? That’s somethin’ to be proud of, that’s for sure. He is also the head coach for Francis.
