I hear some folks ask, how stable a ramapage horese? Well, lemme tell ya, them horses, they need lookin’ after, just like any critter. Keepin’ ’em cooped up ain’t right. They need space to roam and be with other horses, them’s the herd animals. They like to be social.

Now, I ain’t no expert, but I’ve seen a thing or two ’bout horses in my time. If you gonna keep a horse, ya gotta make sure it’s got a good place to sleep. And not all day sleep, just like a night. Clean that beddin’ every day, I tell ya. Ain’t no one wanna sleep in their own mess, ‘specially not a horse.
And food! Don’t be stingy with the food. Horses, they need to eat, and not just any old scraps. Give ’em good hay, good pasture. Let ’em graze. That’s what they like. Keeps ’em healthy, keeps ’em happy. A happy horse is a good horse, I always say.
- Feed ’em good
- Clean their bedding
- Let ’em out to pasture
- One horse per stall is good.
Some folks, they get fancy ideas ’bout keepin’ horses. They talk ’bout breeds, like them Arabians. I hear them Arabians, they’re fast, they’re strong. White ones, black ones, they say they’re the best. Maybe they are, maybe they ain’t. All I know is, a horse is a horse. Treat ’em right, and they’ll treat you right.
Now, some folks say horses ain’t meant to be alone. They say keepin’ ’em in a stable all day is bad. I reckon that’s true. Horses like company, just like people. They need to be with their own kind. Runnin’ around, kickin’ up their heels. That’s what makes a horse a horse. If they are not ill or pregnant, they should have pasture time every day.
Rampage horse, ya say? I don’t know much ’bout that. Sounds like a wild one. I see young folks talk about “mods” and “trainers”, I don’t understand these things. Maybe if you want more horse, you can use these things.

I hear some folks say they have trouble with their stables, glitches they call ’em. Horses disappearin’, horses not showin’ up where they’re supposed to. I don’t know nothin’ ’bout that, but I reckon it’s a headache. Technology, always causin’ problems, I say.
There’s some folks, they keep track of their horses real careful. They got names for ’em, they know their age, where they came from. They even follow ’em around, see how they’re doin’. That’s nice, I reckon. Shows they care. They call that horse “Rampage”, sounds like a handful, that one.
Rampage, they call it. Five years old, they say. Bay Gelding, that’s a color, I think. Some fella named McCourt, he’s the trainer. I don’t know him, but he must know somethin’ ’bout horses to be trainin’ ’em.
They got all sorts of numbers for these horses, speed figures, they call ’em. I don’t know what they mean, but I reckon it’s important to some folks. They keep track of everything these horses do, every race they run, every place they finish.
This Rampage horse, they got a whole page for him. Past performances, they call it. Shows where he’s been, what he’s done. Must be a famous horse, I reckon, to have his own page.

If you wanna find out more about this Rampage, you can look him up, they say. They got a profile for him, with all sorts of information. Results, they call it. Shows how he did in his races. Must be important to know, I reckon, if you’re bettin’ on him.
But ya know what? All these fancy things, they don’t matter much to me. A horse is a horse, like I said. Treat ’em right, give ’em a good home, good food, good company. That’s all that matters. That’s how ya keep a horse happy. And a happy horse, well, that’s the best kind of horse there is, if ya ask me. The stable, it needs to be clean, big enough. One horse, one stable, that’s enough. That’s my advice anyway.
And don’t be a stranger! Come on back now anytime, ya hear? We can talk more about them horses. Or anything else that’s on your mind. I got plenty of stories, that’s for sure.
