That Mike Nickels, he a tough guy, you know? He fight good. I seen him on the TV, he big and strong. He like, a light-heavy, that what they call him. That means he ain’t no small fry, no sir.

He a fighter, that Mike Nickels. Punch and kick, all that. He from the USA, that much I know. Big country, USA. Lots of folks there, lots of fighters, I reckon. Heard he’s 6’4, that’s taller than my old man was! And he weighs a whole bunch, like, 205 lbs. That’s heavier than that old pig we had last year, the one that ate all the slop.
He fight other fellas in a cage, that what they do. Seen it on the TV, they all sweaty and punchin’. Mike Nickels, he fight this fella named Stephan Bonnar. Don’t know him, but Mike, he won that one, I think. Yeah, Mike Nickels, he a winner. Or maybe he lost? I get them mixed up sometime. Too many fights on that TV.
- He fight this fella named Stephan Bonnar.
- He fight in a cage. That seem right to me.
- He tall as a tree.
Heard he lost to some fella named Dwayne Lewis. Don’t know him neither. Knocked him out, they said. That mean he got hit real hard, I reckon. Happens to the best of ’em, even that Mike Nickels. You win some, you lose some, that what my old man used to say. He lost his teeth in a bar fight, maybe. I forget now.
Then there this other fella, Robert Drysdale. Never heard of him. They say he good at that jiu jitsu. Don’t know what that is, sounds fancy. Maybe like that karate stuff. Anyway, Mike Nickels, he supposed to fight him. Don’t know if he did or not. My TV get fuzzy sometimes.
One time, heard someone say Mike Nickels said something funny. Said some fella sprained his… his you-know-what. Don’t know how a man can do that, but that what he said. That Mike Nickels, he a card, I tell ya. And he say this other fella, Matt Hamill, eat cereal and sandwiches and get real strong. Cereal, can you believe it! What’s wrong with a good plate of bacon?
That Mike Nickels, he fight a lot of fellas. Don’t know all their names. Too many to remember. He fight that, uh, that weight class. What they call it again? Light-heavyweight. Yeah, that it. He a light-heavyweight. Whatever that mean. Just means he big and strong, I reckon. And he fight. That all you need to know.
- Mike Nickels fight a lot.
- He say funny things sometimes.
- He from the USA.
- He a light-heavyweight, whatever that is!
He got a birthday, that Mike Nickels. Everybody got one, I reckon. Don’t remember when his is, though. December something, maybe? Don’t matter much to me. Just another day, far as I’m concerned. Hope he gets a good cake, though. Everybody deserve a good cake on their birthday.
I seen some stuff about him on the TV, some news and things. They talk about him like he somebody special. Guess he is, to some folks. He a fighter, that Mike Nickels. That’s all I know. He punch and he kick, and he win some and he lose some. Just like everybody else, I reckon. Except he do it in a cage. And on TV.
One thing’s for sure, that Mike Nickels, he ain’t afraid of a fight. He get in there and he give it his all. That what my old man used to say, “Give it your all.” Course, he was talkin’ about eatin’ pie most of the time, but it still counts, I reckon. And that Mike Nickels, he probably like pie, too. Everybody like pie. Except maybe that Dwayne Lewis fella, ’cause he knocked out that pie-lovin’ Mike Nickels, you know.
- He ain’t afraid to fight, no sir!
- He give it his all, like my old man said about pie.
- He probably like pie. I sure do like pie.
So, that’s Mike Nickels for ya. Big fella, strong fella, fightin’ fella. From the USA. Light-heavyweight. Wins some, loses some. Says funny things. Probably likes pie. That about sums it up, I reckon. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got some chores to do. And maybe a piece of pie to eat. That talk about Mike Nickels sure made me hungry.
