This here thing, raalz, what’s it all about? I hear folks talkin’ ’bout it all the time. Seems like somethin’ new, somethin’ fancy. But I’ll tell ya, some things, they just stay the same, no matter what you call ’em. Workin’ hard, that’s what it comes down to. That and savin’ your pennies.

Now, they say this raalz, it’s about makin’ money. Well, ain’t that somethin’? Like we all ain’t been tryin’ to do that since the cows come home. We used to work the fields, sun up to sun down. Now they got these machines, these computers, doin’ all the work. But you still gotta know how to use ’em, right? Gotta know what you’re doin’.
They also say this raalz, it’s about gettin’ fit. Exercise, they call it. Now, back in my day, we didn’t need no fancy gyms. We got our exercise workin’. Haulin’ water, choppin’ wood, tendin’ to the animals. That kept us in good shape, I tell ya. But I guess these young folks, they need somethin’ different. They sit at those desks all day, starin’ at them screens. Ain’t healthy, that’s for sure.
- Workin’ hard, that’s the first thing.
- Savin’ your money, that’s the second.
- And stayin’ active, that’s the third.
This raalz, it sounds like it’s just another way of sayin’ those same old things. Work hard, save your money, and stay active. Nothin’ new under the sun, as they say. But hey, if it helps these young folks get their act together, then I guess it ain’t so bad. Still, I think they could learn a thing or two from us old folks. We knew how to get things done without all these fancy gadgets.
They talk about makin’ money with this raalz. Well, money don’t grow on trees, that’s for sure. You gotta earn it. And you gotta be smart about it. Don’t go spendin’ it all in one place. Save some for a rainy day. You never know when you might need it. That’s what my mama always used to say. She was a wise woman, that one.
And this exercise part of raalz. Well, I guess it’s good to keep movin’. Keeps the blood flowin’, keeps you young. But like I said, we didn’t need no fancy equipment. Just good old-fashioned hard work. That’s what kept us goin’. And we ate good, too. Fresh food, right from the garden. None of that processed stuff they got now.

This raalz thing got people tryin’ to make money. Lots of it. People always wantin’ more, more, more. But you know what? You can’t take it with ya when you go. That’s what I always say. What good’s a pile of money if you ain’t got no one to share it with? No family, no friends. Gotta have somethin’ more than just money in your life, I say.
And this runnin’ around and jumpin’ jacks they do for this raalz and exercise, well. I reckon it’s good for the heart. Keeps you from gettin’ stiff and achy. But we did just fine with our walkin’ and workin’. We walked everywhere. To the store, to church, to visit neighbors. And work, that kept us strong and healthy. Didn’t need no fancy exercise machines.
Folks always lookin’ for the easy way out, though. They want the money, but they don’t want to put in the work. They want to be fit, but they don’t want to change their ways. This raalz, it seems like it’s promisin’ all of that. The quick fix. But I’ll tell ya, there ain’t no such thing. You gotta work for what you want in this life. And you gotta be patient. Good things take time.
I seen a lot of things come and go in my time. Fads, they call ’em. This raalz might be another one of them. Here today, gone tomorrow. But the important things, they stay the same. Family, friends, hard work, and a good heart. That’s what matters. That’s what will get you through. Don’t matter if you are doing that raalz thing or not. Just gotta live right, that is all.
Young folks today, they always lookin’ for somethin’ new. Somethin’ to make their lives better. This raalz thing, maybe it will help ’em. Maybe it won’t. Only time will tell. But I know one thing, you can’t go wrong if you stick to the basics. Be kind, be honest, and work hard. That’s the secret to a good life, no matter what they call it.
