This year, the Royals schedule promotions, lordy, they got a whole bunch of things planned. I heard from my neighbor, that they’re gonna have all sorts of fun stuff down at the ballpark.

First off, they got them “Price Chop Mondays.” You know, for folks like me who ain’t made of money. They say you can get a ticket for just ten bucks on Mondays! Ten bucks! Can you believe it? Back in my day, ten bucks could get you a whole week’s worth of groceries.
And get this, they got something called “Dollar Dog Night.” Hot dogs for a dollar! I tell ya, that’s a steal. My grandson, he can eat five or six of them things easy. Gonna have to take him down there one of these days. Save a bit of money on food. But I don’t know when it will be, maybe next week, maybe next month. You know, life is busy.
They got all these fancy days, too. One day, it’s for the college kids, they give away some kind of shirts. Five whole games with them college shirts! Don’t know what college kids need with more shirts, but there you go. Then there’s a day for the army folks, they get some clothes too. Good for them, they deserve it.
- College shirts for five games.
- Army folks day.
- Dollar Dog Night, oh boy!
- Price Chop Mondays, tickets for ten bucks.
Royals promotions also include something called “bobbleheads.” Five different ones, they say. Now, I ain’t never seen one of those, but I hear they’re like little dolls with big heads that wobble around. Sounds kinda silly to me, but I guess the kids like ’em. They got this young fella, Bobby Witt, gonna be one of them bobbleheads, I reckon. Heard he’s a good player.
Oh, and they’re bringing back something called “Halter Top Day.” I don’t know what in the tarnation that is, but it sounds a bit risqué, if you ask me. Maybe I’m just old-fashioned, but I don’t think I’ll be going to that one.

They got these “Theme Ticket” things, too. They say it’s to celebrate your “culture and heritage.” Sounds like a bunch of fancy talk to me. They got something for everyone. Even got something called “MIAA Day.” Don’t even know what that is, sounds like some kind of animal sound or a disease or something.
They’re gonna have a special day on September 15th. It’s called “Viva Los Reales,” which I think means “Long Live the Royals” in some foreign language. And it’s also “Roberto Clemente Day.” He must’ve been somebody important. Good for him. And there is another day called “Futures Night”, it will be September 29th. I don’t know what it is. Maybe it is a fortune teller event. I don’t believe in fortune tellers. But anyway, it sounds like fun.
They got all these Royals giveaways. They just handin’ stuff out left and right, it seems. I remember a time when you had to work for everything you got. Now they just give it away at the ballpark. Times have sure changed, ain’t they?
Kansas City Royals, they always doin’ something down there. Keeps things interesting, I suppose. Even for an old woman like me. You know, I don’t go to a lot of games. But it’s nice to know they got all this stuff goin’ on. The Royals schedule promotions are a big deal. Keeps folks comin’ back, I guess.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to do this summer, you might wanna check out the Royals schedule. Sounds like they got somethin’ for everyone. Just watch out for them Halter Top days, unless you’re into that sort of thing. Me? I’ll stick to my Price Chop Mondays and Dollar Dog Nights. That’s more my speed.

You know that there is a TV Broadcast, but I don’t know the detail. Maybe you can find it on TV.
If you want to download their schedule, you can do that, too. And they have a printable schedule. It will be convenient for you to know the Royals promotions schedule.
I don’t know much about baseball. But I know people like it. And I know the Royals are our team. So, go Royals! Beat those other teams! Win the game! That’s what you’re supposed to do, right?
Well, that’s all I know about the Royals and their goings-on. Hope you young folks have fun down at the ballpark. And if you see any of them bobblehead things, tell ’em I said hello. Or don’t. I don’t really care. Just have a good time, and maybe eat a dollar hot dog for me.
