Well, let me tell you somethin’ about them Savannah Bananas, playin’ down there at that loanDepot park. It ain’t your regular baseball, no sir. They call it Banana Ball. Sounds silly, don’t it? But folks seem to love it. I seen it on the TV. They got all sorts of crazy rules, these fellas.

They’re from Savannah, Georgia, them Bananas. Usually play at their own place, Grayson Stadium, I reckon. But they like to travel around, show off their tricks. They call it a World Tour, fancy that! They play against a team called the Party Animals. Sounds like a bunch of young’uns carryin’ on if you ask me. And sometimes other teams, regular professional ones in the Challenger Series.
One fella, name of Kellogg, says their games ain’t all planned out. Says they celebrate and do silly things, but it depends on what happens in the game. Like if they hit a home run, they might do a little jig or somethin’. Not like those wrestling shows, where it’s all fake. This here is real, just with extra funnin’.
Now, they’re comin’ back to that loanDepot park next year, March 1st and 2nd, 2025. That’s what I hear. You best believe I’ll try and watch it. If you wanna go see it in person, you gotta get your name in for tickets. I hear they sell out faster than hotcakes at a church social, so you gotta be quick!
- They play that Banana Ball, they call it the fastest and most fun game ever.
- Only two hours long, no dilly-dallying!
- No steppin’ out, no buntin’, just plain ol’ hittin’ and runnin’.
I heard they even sold out two games in a row at a big-time Major League Baseball park! That was this past March. Can you imagine that? Them Savannah Bananas are somethin’ else. I tell ya. I guess folks love a good show. They even play when the big league teams, the MLB, are in their postseason. That’s what I heard, anyway.
loanDepot park, that’s where the Marlins play, right? Well, this past weekend, it was all about them Bananas. They call it “banana land” now, I reckon. It was a real hoot, I tell ya. The whole place was transformed. Lots of fun, lots of laughin’.

That game they had against them Party Animals at loanDepot park, just this past Saturday, everyone said it was somethin’ special. A real good time. They said it was a perfect way to end their season. Guess them Bananas know how to put on a show.
They’re sayin’ they just opened up some more seats for the Savannah Bananas game at loanDepot park. Not many, though. If you wanna see ’em, you better hurry up and get your tickets. It’s a popular event in Savannah and Miami, for sure. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya!
They got some big-name baseball players, them MLB icons, playin’ with the Bananas sometimes. They come back to Miami for the last game of the tour, that’s what I heard. It’s a big deal, them playin’ at loanDepot park. All them folks cheerin’ and hollerin’. It’s quite the spectacle, I’d imagine.
I seen some folks talkin’ about it online. They use these things called “tags,” I think. One was “SavannahBanana” and another was “bananaball.” Guess that’s how folks find out about these things nowadays. Back in my day, we just heard about things from each other. You know, word of mouth.
That loanDepot park is a nice place, I hear. Big and fancy. Not like the old ball fields we used to have. But I guess times change. And folks like this new-fangled Banana Ball. It’s different, that’s for sure. But different can be good, I suppose.

If you like baseball and you like to laugh, you might just enjoy them Savannah Bananas. They’re a bunch of clowns, but they sure know how to play ball. And they sure know how to entertain a crowd. It’s a whole different kind of ballgame down there at loanDepot park when they’re in town. I reckon it’s worth seein’ at least once, just to say you did.
They put on a good show, these Savannah Bananas. You just gotta see it to believe it. They are the talk of the town, wherever they go. And it is just crazy to see all those folks going to that loanDepot park just to see them. You would think the Marlins were playing, but nope, it is those Bananas! Just goes to show, people like something different, something fun. I might just have to get myself a ticket next year and see what all the fuss is about!
