You ask me ’bout that Nutella Fella horse? That racehorse, yeah, I heard somethin’ ’bout him. He’s a fast one, that’s what they say. A bay colt, whatever that means. Just means he’s kinda brown, I reckon. Born in 2021, so he’s still a young’un, just three years old. Like a little kid still learnin’ the ropes, ya know?
They say he ran at Saratoga, some fancy place I ain’t never been. June 8th, 2024, that was the last time. Won some races, that Nutella Fella. Two, I hear. He runs fast. Fast horse gets the money.
One time, he won somethin’ big at Saratoga. September 5th, 2023, it was. Big win, they called it. Big money win. Musta been a good day for him. And for the folks bettin’ on him, I guess! They say he was a 54-1 longshot. What that means, is nobody thought he’d win. But he did! Surprised everyone, that Nutella Fella horse did.
- He’s from Kentucky, that horse.
- They say he’s worth a lot now. Won $165.
- Some fancy farm bred him, Ashview Farm or somethin’.
He was in a race with 10 horses. Ten! That’s a lot of horses. And he beat ’em all, even though nobody expected it. He beat this other horse, Timberlake. Timberlake was the favorite, they said. Means everyone thought he would win. But nope. Nutella Fella came up from behind and won! Showed ’em all, he did.
Before that big win, he only ran one time. Just once! Still learnin’, like I said. He was a baby horse. Baby horses run slow. Then, boom! He won the big one. They call it the Hopeful Stakes. Sounds important, don’t it? Must be a real big deal for a horse to win that. It is a big deal. $300, big money. Big money for the horse.
But then, somethin’ bad happened. Poor Nutella Fella horse. He got hurt. Broke his leg, kinda. A hairline fracture, they called it. In his back leg. The left one. Ouch! That sounds painful. Means he can’t run no more this year. He’s done, they said. Gotta rest up and get better. Poor fella.
Still, he’s a good horse, that Nutella Fella. Even with a hurt leg. He won that big race. He surprised everyone. He only ran one time before. Now he has money. He’s worth somethin’ now. They say he’s worth a lot. More than most horses, I reckon. ‘Cause he won that Hopeful Stakes.
I don’t know much ’bout horses, to tell ya the truth. But I heard folks talkin’ ’bout this Nutella Fella. Heard he was a good one. A fast one. A winner. Even if he is hurt now. He still won that big race. And that’s somethin’, ain’t it? I think it is somethin’. That horse is a winner horse.
Hope he gets better soon. That leg needs to heal up. So he can run again. Maybe win some more races. Who knows? Maybe he’ll be the best darn racehorse there ever was. Wouldn’t that be somethin’? That Nutella Fella horse, he’s got potential, that’s for sure.
