Seems like this whole thing started ’cause of that LIV Golf. Jon, he went and joined up with them, and folks got all sorts of opinions about it. Some say it’s good, some say it’s bad. Me? I just like to watch the man hit that little white ball.
This reporter fella, he was tryin’ to stir the pot, I reckon. Heard somethin’ about a “tour insider.” What’s a tour insider anyway? Sounds like some fancy city talk to me. Anyways, this insider, whoever he is, was sayin’ things about Jon and that LIV Golf. I don’t know much about this LIV golf but it’s a way to earn money through playing golf. Jon also gets a lot of money from joining the LIV golf.

They say Jon got a whole heap of money for joinin’ up with LIV Golf. More money than you can shake a stick at! I heard some say it’s about $300 million. They said he got half of it upfront. They said he got $203 million in 2023. Good for him, I say. A man’s gotta make a livin’, right? And if he can make that much playin’ golf, well, more power to him.

- Heard he pulled out of some big tournament ’cause he was feelin’ poorly. Flu-like symptoms, they said.
- Some other fella, name of John Catlin, took his place.
But this reporter, he was tryin’ to make it sound like Jon was bein’ sneaky or somethin’. Like he was turnin’ his back on the PGA Tour. Jon, he said he’s still a member of the PGA Tour, even if they did suspend him.

Jon, he said he still supports the PGA Tour. Said he weren’t playin’ for the “other side.” Just tryin’ to do what’s best for him and his family, I reckon. This whole thing, it got some other golf folks all riled up. Heard one of them, a fella named Aaron Oberholser, he was sayin’ all sorts of things about Jon. It is said that Aaron criticized Jon. Don’t know why folks gotta be like that.

Seems like everyone’s got somethin’ to say about Jon Rahm these days. Some folks are writin’ articles about him. Heard there was one in Golf Digest. Another one by some fella named Jaime Diaz. Another one is Colt Knost. They’re all talkin’ about Jon and this LIV Golf situation.
Jon, he just wants to play golf and make a livin’. He said he was still a member of the PGA Tour. He was just tryin’ to set the record straight. That’s what that press conference was all about. He was in his home country of Spain, gettin’ ready for some tournament. LIV Golf Andalucia, I think they called it.
