Okay, so let me tell you about my little adventure trying to watch the NASCAR qualifying in Chicago. It was a bit of a wild ride, to be honest!

First, I woke up super excited because, you know, NASCAR! I grabbed my phone and started looking up where I could watch it. It wasn’t as straightforward as I thought. I saw that it was supposed to be on the NBC Sports App, so I downloaded that. But then I read somewhere else that it would be on NBC Chicago and Peacock. That had me a bit confused.
- So, I opened the NBC Sports App.
- Then I also signed up for a trial of Peacock, just to be safe.
Then, I found out that fubo also had it. Since I was already kinda familiar with fubo, I also logged in there. They had the right channels – Fox, FS1, NBC, and USA Network. I figured, “Why not have all the options open?”
Trying to figure out the schedule
The real headache started when I tried to find the exact time. One place said 12:30 p.m. CT, but it wasn’t super clear. I dug around more and saw that the TV coverage was on USA Network. Checked my fubo – yep, they had it.
I also learned that there were 37 cars in the entry list. And get this – Trackhouse Racing had a third car with some Australian Supercars champion. That sounded pretty cool, so I made a note to look him up later.
Finally Watching It
When the time finally came, I flipped between the NBC Sports App, Peacock, and fubo. I wanted to see which one had the best stream. In the end, I mostly stuck with fubo because the quality was pretty good and I was used to the interface. Also, learned that if I had a friend in Canada, they could watch it on TNS and RDS; UK friend can watch it on Viaplay, and Fox Sports for some other friends who stay down under.

So yeah, that was my whole process of figuring out how to watch the NASCAR qualifying in Chicago. It was way more complicated than it needed to be, but hey, I got to watch it in the end! And that’s what matters, right?
Hope this little story helps someone out there. It’s a bit of a mess, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Just keep digging and you’ll find your way!
