Okay, so I was chilling at home on Saturday, and I got this sudden urge to watch some horse racing. I remembered it was time for the Pennsylvania Derby, but I had no clue where to catch it. So, I grabbed my phone and started searching.

First, I checked the usual sports channels, but no luck. It’s a big race, but not like, Super Bowl big, you know? So, it wasn’t on the main channels. Then, I looked up the race details.
- Race Date: Saturday, September 21
- Track: Parx Racing in Bensalem
I found out that Parx Racing was hosting it, and there were a whopping 14 races that day! Eleven stakes races, too. That’s a lot of action. I saw something about a horse named Rich Strike, that’s gonna be a stud in the state after racing. I did not pay attention to what it was saying about the Smarty JonesTags.
Then I started digging for where to watch it. I saw a guide to radio and TV coverage, which was kind of helpful, but not exactly what I needed.
Finally, I stumbled upon the schedule for Racing TV. It said you could watch scheduled horse racing coverage live on their website, mobile apps, or even on TV through some providers. Bingo! I didn’t actually use any of their platforms and found it on some other sports station instead, but at least I had an option, and I knew for sure that it was going to start at 2 pm.
I ended up catching the race, and it was pretty exciting. All that searching was worth it to see those horses run. Next time, though, I’ll probably just check Racing TV first to save myself some time.
