Okay, so, like everyone else, I got super hyped about the Super Bowl halftime show, right? I mean, it’s a huge deal! But I kept thinking, “What time is this thing actually happening?” I didn’t want to miss a single second of it. So I started my little research project.

First, I searched for when the Super Bowl itself was going down. Turns out, it’s on February 9th, 2025. I jotted that down immediately. Then I found out the kickoff was set for 6:30 p.m. ET. Alright, cool, that’s the starting point.
But here’s where it got a bit tricky. There’s no set time for the halftime show. It basically starts when the second quarter of the game ends. I learned that the Super Bowl games usually last around 3 to 4 hours.
- Figured out the game would probably be around 3-4 hours long.
- Realized halftime would be somewhere in the middle of that.
Then I found out Kendrick Lamar is headlining! That made me even more excited. I remembered he was in the Super Bowl 56 halftime show a couple of years ago with a bunch of other legends. This time, it’s just him, and I was totally into it. I recalled Katy Perry’s halftime show back in 2015, it was such a blast!
I also read somewhere that halftime shows usually stick to under 13 minutes. I imagined how they pack all that awesomeness into such a short time. Anyway, based on all this, I calculated that the halftime show would probably kick off somewhere between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ET. Give or take, you know? It’s not an exact science or anything.
So, yeah, that’s how I figured out the approximate time for the Super Bowl halftime show. It was a fun little investigation, and now I’m all set to enjoy the show!
