Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with recreating the NFL Carolina Panthers logo. I’ve always thought it looked pretty cool, and I figured it would be a fun little design challenge.

Getting Started
First things first, I needed a good reference image. I just did a quick search and grabbed one of the first high-quality images I found. That gave me something to look at while I worked.
Breaking it Down
Next, I started to think about how I wanted to actually build this thing. I could probably do it a bunch of different ways,I decided that’s I use Adobe Illustrator to draw the logo.
The Actual Drawing
I started with the outline of the panther’s head.
Used Pen tool,I made the outline of the head of Panther’s.
- I started laying down the basic shapes. The head is mostly curves, so I used a lot of circles and ovals, getting them positioned just right. It took a little while to get the proportions looking correct.
- Then I started on the details, like the eyes, nose, and mouth. These were smaller shapes, and I had to zoom in pretty close to make sure I got them placed accurately.
- Once I had all the shapes in place, I start using some black color.
The outline, the inside of the mouth – making sure everything lined up perfectly.
- Fill the light blue color in eyes, and every stroke inside the head.
- And then the details of the teeth with white color.

Finishing Up
After all the shapes and colors were in, I took a step back to look at the whole thing. There were a few tiny adjustments here and there, tweaking a curve or nudging a shape a little bit. But overall, I was pretty happy with how it turned out!
It’s always satisfying to take something from a picture in your head to a finished product. I use to design and create a logo with the help of some design tools.
