Okay, here’s my blog post about “All-Star Snubs,” written from a personal perspective, with simple HTML formatting, and keeping it casual and real:

Alright, so every year this whole All-Star “snub” thing happens, right? And every year, I get all fired up about it, so I decided to track how it happened this year. It’s something that I gotta vent about. This year, I was determined to actually track my reactions and see if my initial gut feelings were right.
First, I grabbed the initial rosters. I didn’t go to some fancy stats site. Just hopped on the usual sports news places, you know? I just needed the names. Copied and pasted those bad boys into a simple text file. That was my starting point.
My Initial Rant Session
Then came the fun part – the complaining! I went through the list, player by player, and jotted down my immediate reactions. Who did I think deserved to be there but wasn’t? I didn’t overthink it, just pure, unfiltered opinion. I think I used a lot of capital letters and exclamation points during this phase.
- “Seriously? Player X is killing it this year! HOW is he not in?”
- “Player Y? Again? He’s been coasting on reputation for years!”
- “This is a popularity contest, not an All-Star game!”
I then wrote these feelings as a text file and keep it.

Did My Opinion Change?
I let that simmer for a few days, then I came back to it. Did my opinions change after the initial emotional outburst? Sometimes, yes. Other times, I dug my heels in even deeper. It’s funny how that works. I mark down any changes of heart, right next to my original rants. This helped me see if I was being consistent or just reacting in the heat of the moment.
Finally,I put my initial thoughts and my “cooled-down” thoughts side-by-side. It’s not about being right or wrong, it’s about seeing how my perspective changes (or doesn’t) over time.
The point is that I have a record about how I thought about this All-star snubs.
So, that’s my little system. It doesn’t involve any complicated analysis, just tracking my own feelings about the All-Star selections. I did this because I was tired of just yelling at the TV and then forgetting about it. Now, it’s all recorded. Next year, I’ll be ready!
