Alright, so the other day I decided to check out the Astros Shop at Minute Maid Park. I’m a huge Astros fan, and I figured it was time to get some new gear.

First off, I found parking near the stadium, which is always a bit of a hassle in downtown Houston, but it worked out. Walked over to the stadium, and man, Minute Maid Park is just impressive, even when there isn’t a game going on. The shop is right there in Union Station, which is super convenient.
Entering the store, I was like a kid in a candy shop. Jerseys, hats, t-shirts, you name it. They’ve got everything an Astros fan could ever want. I was particularly interested in checking out some of the autographed memorabilia they had. I even noticed they have some game-used items, which is pretty cool if you’re into that sort of thing.
- I spent a good chunk of time just browsing through all the different sections.
- Tried on a few different jerseys, trying to decide which player to represent this season.
- Finally, I settled on a new Altuve jersey – can’t go wrong with that guy.
The staff there were pretty helpful, too. I had a few questions about sizing and some of the special edition items, and they were able to answer everything. They also mentioned that you can bring in outside food and one clear, empty water bottle per person, which is good to know for game days. Since I didn’t get any food from there, I decided to just buy some stuff. I even grabbed a few extra things for my buddies who are also big fans.
It was a successful trip!
Overall, I was pretty stoked with my visit to the Astros Shop. I ended up getting a few things that I’m really happy with, and I’ll definitely be back, especially once the season starts. If you’re an Astros fan and you’re in Houston, you gotta check it out. You won’t be disappointed!
