Okay, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with Austin Reaves’ recent performance. I kept hearing people talk about him, so I figured I’d do a little digging myself. Here’s how I went about it:

Checked the Stats
First things first, I needed some cold, hard data. I wanted to see his actual game stats. I’m not gonna lie, I mostly stick to simple stuff, like points, rebounds, assists, you know?
- Started Simple: I looked up “Austin Reaves last 5 games stats”. You could go through a lot of pages.
- Looked at box scores: I found each of his past five games to get the actual data.
- Jot down the Key Numbers: I wrote down his points, assists, rebounds from what I watched for each game. Just in my notebook, nothing fancy.
Watched Game Highlights
Of Course I need to watch him playing! Can’t just stare at numbers, right? So,I tried to find some highlights.
- Searched for highlight reels: Type the words, you’ll find something.
- Watched Closely: Pay attention to how he moves, his shooting form, how he interacts with teammates. all that good stuff.
- made a note of impressive plays: Anything that really jumped out at me.
Bringing it all Together
Then I started to try to get an opinion.
- Compared it to what I saw: Did the stats match the eye test? Was he as good (or not) as the numbers suggested?
- Looked for Trends: Was he consistent? Did he have one amazing game and four mediocre ones? That sort of thing.
So, That is the way I did it. It’s not rocket science, just basic stuff to get a sense of a basketball player.I just looked at the data and watched him play.
