Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this Bark at the Park Rockies 2024 thing. It’s gonna be a real hootenanny! I heard it’s happenin’ at that Coors Field place. Big place, that is. Lots of folks go there to watch them baseball games.

This year, now listen close, they’re doin’ it two whole days! That’s right, two! August 27th and 28th, 2024. You can bring your furry friend, your dog, right along with ya! Ain’t that somethin’? Now, I ain’t never seen nothin’ like it, but I reckon it’ll be a sight to behold.
My neighbor, she’s got one of them little yappy dogs, a chihuahua. Always barkin’ at nothin’. She’s thinkin’ of takin’ it to this Bark at the Park. Says it’ll be good for it to get out and about. I told her, “Just make sure it don’t run off and chase them baseballs!”
They say you gotta go to some place called McGregor Square first. Before the game, mind you. Probably to get your tickets and such. I don’t know nothin’ about this McGregor fella, but I reckon he’s got a nice square. They say it is a special thing for your dog. What special? I don’t know.
Now, you can’t just bring any old critter to the regular games. Nope. Unless it’s one of them seein’ eye dogs. Those are special. Help folks who can’t see so good. But this Bark at the Park, that’s different. That’s when you can bring your dog, but you gotta have a special ticket, I reckon. A Bark in the Park ticket.
- August 27th, that’s the first day.
- August 28th, that’s the second day.
- Gotta go to McGregor Square first.
- Need a special Bark in the Park ticket.
- It’s at that Coors Field place. Big place!
They did this last year, too, I think. Or maybe the year before. Time flies when you’re gettin’ old! I remember hearin’ somethin’ about it. They said it was a real success. Lots of dogs, lots of barkin’, lots of fun! I hear it was on September 7th last year, 6:40pm.

Now I heard some folks, they’re gonna be there with a table. Near the “Dog Zone.” That’s what they call it, the “Dog Zone.” Sounds like a place where dogs can just be dogs, I suppose. They’ll be sayin’ “hey” and lettin’ folks play with some pups. Sounds like a good time to me. I just hope they got enough water for all them thirsty dogs. Especially if it’s a hot day. Colorado can get real hot in the summer, you know. These pups need water.
This whole Bark at the Park Rockies 2024 is sponsored by some folks, too. I think these are Nylabone and King Soopers. I don’t know about Nylabone, but King Soopers, that’s a grocery store. Good place to get your vittles. Maybe they’ll be handin’ out dog treats. Now that would be somethin’.
I reckon they’ll have some rules, you know. Like, keep your dog on a leash. Don’t want them runnin’ all over the place causin’ a ruckus. And probably gotta clean up after ’em if they make a mess. Common courtesy, that’s all. If you wanna go, you need to know the address. I hear it is 1901 Wazee Street, Denver. That’s where this whole shindig is goin’ down.
So, if you got yourself a dog, and you like baseball, and you wanna have a good time, well, this Bark at the Park Rockies 2024 might just be the thing for you. Just remember what I said: August 27th and 28th, McGregor Square, Coors Field, special ticket, and keep your dog on a leash! And have yourself a good old time! I hope everyone can have fun in the Bark at the Park.
They say the Colorado Rockies, that’s the baseball team, they’re the ones puttin’ this whole thing on. They must really like dogs, huh? I wonder if any of them baseball players will bring their dogs. Now that would be somethin’ to see. These baseball players are famous. Maybe, the dogs will be famous too.

I might just have to go myself, even though I don’t have a dog. Just to see what all the fuss is about. Maybe I’ll borrow my neighbor’s chihuahua. Just kiddin’! But it does sound like a lot of fun. I hope that everyone have a good time. This Bark at the Park is sure to be a good time for everyone.
