Okay, so, I was messing around with this “ice staff code” thing in the game, and let me tell you, it was a trip. I kept seeing people talk about it online, saying you gotta shoot some symbols and what not. I figured, why not give it a shot?
First off, I had to actually get this ice staff. Turns out, you need to collect parts, and the only time you can dig them up is when it’s snowing in the game. So, I waited, and waited, and whenever it snowed, I was out there digging like a crazy person. I heard each dig only gives you like a one in three chance to find a part, so it took a while. And the disc thingy? Found that inside the Gen 2 area, just lying around. The Wind Staff parts I got from the Giant Robots. This stuff is all over the place.
Once I finally got all the parts and built this ice staff, then came the real headache. There’s this puzzle where you gotta shoot symbols. They show you these symbols made of circles, and you have to find the matching ones that are made of triangles and lines. They’re always the same, so it’s not like it changes each time you play, which is a small mercy. You have to remember the order too, since the stones flip around after you shoot a panel, so if you mess up, you’re back to square one.
I spent hours on this, seriously. I looked up some guides online, but they were all super confusing. Finally, I just started trying different combinations. I’d shoot a panel, see if the stone flipped, and if it did, I’d move on to the next one. If not, I’d start over. Let me tell you, it was frustrating.
But, you know what? After all that trial and error, I finally cracked it! I figured out the right order, shot all the panels, and bam, it worked. It felt awesome, like I’d actually accomplished something. Like all the other stuff I had to do was also worth it, like getting the Gramaphone and Record and whatnot. All in all, it was a pain, but a fun one. If you’re up for a challenge, you should definitely try this out. Just be prepared to spend some time on it, and maybe have a notepad handy to keep track of the patterns. You don’t want to lose your mind like I almost did!

- Waited for snow: Seriously, just hung around until it started snowing.
- Dug like crazy: Every time it snowed, I dug everywhere I could.
- Found the disc: Looked around inside the Gen 2 area until I found it.
- Got some other stuff: Gathered the Gramaphone, Record…
- Shot the panels: Used the ice staff to shoot the ceiling panels in the order I figured out.
- Celebrated: Because, finally, it was over!
