Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this Dallas trade thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. Started off just poking around, you know, seeing what all the fuss was about. I mean, everyone’s talking about the Cowboys and what moves they’re gonna make, right? So, I dove in.

First thing I did was just gather some info. I skimmed through some articles, just to get a feel for what people were saying. Lots of chatter about needing to boost the offense, some rumors floating around about potential trades. Nothing concrete, just your usual internet speculation. Then I saw that Stephen Jones hinted at some pre-deadline moves, which got me thinking: maybe there’s something to this.
- Checked out some trade notes and rumors.
- Read up on what the Cowboys need.
- Got wind of potential moves before the deadline.
After that, I started digging a bit deeper. I came across some stuff about the Cowboys being a good fit for some NFL player. Height seemed right, around 6’1″, which is interesting. But you know how it is, rumors are rumors. You gotta take everything with a grain of salt. I also noticed there have been a few trades already in August. So I guess teams are getting busy.
Getting Down to Business
Alright, so then I started playing around with some actual moves. I saw that they let go of Ezekiel Elliott. He asked for it and they granted it. I guess he wants to join a contender for the rest of the season. Also they signed a bunch of people to reserve/futures contracts, which is a bit different than a trade but it’s part of the roster shuffle. A QB, some defenders, and some wide receivers, mainly. I guess they are planning for the future. Then, they extended the contracts of their QB, Will Gried, and their LB, Darius Harris, to 2025. Sounds like they are pretty confident about these two.
But then, the big news that caught my eye was this trade for Jonathan Mingo from the Panthers. A wide receiver. Now, that’s something to chew on. It got me thinking about the possibilities, how he might fit in, what this means for the team’s strategy. It’s like putting together a puzzle, you know? You see the pieces, but you gotta figure out how they all connect.
So, that’s where I’m at now. Still piecing things together, trying to make sense of it all. It’s definitely been an interesting process, going from just casual browsing to actually tracking these moves and trying to understand the bigger picture. I wouldn’t say I’m an expert now or anything, but I’ve definitely learned a thing or two. And who knows, maybe I’ll even figure out what the Cowboys are really up to. It’s all part of the fun, right?
