Man, I’ve always been fascinated by those crazy rich folks in Dubai. They got this insane hotel, the Burj Al Arab, shaped like a sail and all that. And you know what’s even crazier? They put a tennis court on top of it! I had to see this thing for myself.
So, I started digging around. Turns out, this wasn’t just any regular tennis court. They actually took the hotel’s helipad and turned it into a tennis court for some big-shot tennis event back in, like, February 22, 2005 or something. This thing is the world’s highest tennis court. Can you believe that?
Now, getting up there wasn’t going to be easy. This is, like, a 7-star hotel, the only one in the world apparently. But I wasn’t going to play tennis, I just wanted to see it. And I read online, the best way to see the Burj Al Arab was from the ground level.
So I did some more research and found a public beach near Jumeira Beach that supposedly had the best views. Bingo! I packed my bag, grabbed my camera, and headed out.
The journey there was pretty standard, took a taxi, the usual stuff. Got to the beach, and boom, there it was. The Burj Al Arab, in all its glory. And yeah, way up there, you could see this circular thing, that was the tennis court. It’s, like, 650 feet above the ground.
I spent a good chunk of the day just chilling on the beach, taking it all in. Snapped a bunch of photos. You could see people far in the distance. It’s wild to think that’s even a thing, a tennis court in the sky.

- Spotted the tennis court: You can definitely see it from the beach, a circular shape on top.
- Took photos: Got some decent shots of the hotel and the court from afar.
It was a pretty awesome day. I mean, I didn’t actually go up to the tennis court, but just seeing it from the beach was cool enough for me. It’s one of those things you gotta see to believe, you know?
The rest of my day was chill. I had some food. Overall, it was a great experience. If you’re ever in Dubai, you gotta check out this beach and see the Burj Al Arab.
