Happens to the best of ’em, I guess. But he’s a stubborn one, this Chandler. Said he ain’t quittin’. Gonna stay in the fightin’ game, even with a bum elbow. That’s grit, that is.
Now, I don’t know much about fightin’, but I do know about workin’ hard and stickin’ to it. Sounds like Chandler’s got that kinda spirit. He ain’t no quitter, that’s for sure. They also said somethin’ ’bout him fightin’ a fella named Marcus Maulding. Showcase MMA 17, they called it. Probably one of them fancy fightin’ shows. And then there was talk about him goin’ down in weight, to somethin’ called “light heavyweight” in 2021. Guess he wanted to be quicker, lighter on his feet. Makes sense, I suppose. A big fella movin’ fast, that’s somethin’ to see.

This Collin Chandler, he signed up with some school, BYU they called it. Then, wham bam, he changed his mind! Went off to Kentucky instead. Folks are up in arms about it, askin’ all sorts of questions. “How worried should BYU be?” they’re sayin’. Well, I reckon they should be plenty worried! Losin’ a good player like that, it’s a big deal. This Collin fella, he could be somethin’ special. Heard tell he’s the best one on the whole team. That’s somethin’, ain’t it?
So, we got two Chandlers. One fightin’, one shootin’ hoops. Both tough in their own way, I guess. One fella’s punchin’ through pain, the other’s dribblin’ his way to the top. It’s a funny ol’ world, ain’t it? You got all these different folks, doin’ all sorts of different things. And here I am, just an old woman, tryin’ to make sense of it all.
Now, I ain’t sure what else to tell ya ’bout these Chandlers. They’re just folks, like you and me, tryin’ to make their way in the world. One’s usin’ his fists, the other’s usin’ a ball. But they’re both tryin’ to be the best, I reckon. And that’s somethin’ to admire, ain’t it? Whether you’re fightin’ in a cage or shootin’ hoops on a court, it takes hard work and dedication. And these Chandlers, they seem to have plenty of that.
So, there ya have it. That’s all I know ’bout Chandler Cole and Collin Chandler. One’s a fighter, the other’s a basketball player. Both seem like good boys, workin’ hard and chasin’ their dreams. And that’s somethin’ to be proud of, no matter who you are or where you come from.
