This here story about that Michael Thomas mugshot, you know, that football fella. Heard he got himself in a heap of trouble. Lordy, these young’uns today, always something with them.

So, I hear tell, this Michael Thomas, he plays for that New Orleans Saints team. Good player, they say, but seems like he got a bit of a temper. Got himself arrested, that’s what the news says. Simple battery and criminal mischief, that what they call it. Sounds like he was messin’ around where he shouldn’t have been. Happened back in November, last year, round about suppertime, 7 o’clock, I reckon.
Now, I ain’t one to gossip, but folks been talkin’. Seems like this ain’t the first time he’s been in a pickle. Heard somethin’ about a suspension, too. Must’ve done somethin’ real bad to get suspended from playin’ football. That’s a big deal, you know. Can’t make no money if you can’t play.
And get this, he ain’t even got a team to play for now. They call it “unsigned” in 2024. Means nobody wants him, I guess. Heard he was yappin’ on them social medias, complainin’ about the Saints and the coaches. Sounds like a whole mess of drama. A body can’t get nowhere in life with all that fussin’ and fightin’.
Some folks say he got hurt playin’. Maybe his toe or somethin’. They call it “turf toe.” Sounds painful. But he wasn’t hurt bad enough to stop playin’ altogether. They just had him sitting on the bench. Like a time out, you see. Not enough to be put on that IR list. That’s where they put the real busted up players.
This whole thing, it’s a shame, really. He was a big shot with the Saints, played for ’em for eight whole years, since 2016. That’s a long time. But now, with all these troubles, both with his body and with gettin’ along, they let him go. Guess they had enough of his carryin’ on.

Now, folks are lookin’ up his mugshot, tryin’ to see what he looks like after gettin’ arrested. It’s just sad. It’s one thing to see a man’s mugshot. Some folks say it ain’t nobody’s business to look at another man’s mugshot. And to see a man like Michael Thomas end up like that. Well, he got nobody to blame but himself.
- He got arrested, that’s for sure.
- Simple battery and criminal mischief, they say.
- He was yappin’ on social media, causin’ trouble.
- He ain’t got a team now, “unsigned,” they call it.
- He was with the Saints for eight years, but not no more.
It just goes to show, you gotta keep your nose clean. You gotta watch what you say, and how you act. Specially when you’re in the public eye like that football fella. You got no business getting in those kind of Michael Thomas mugshot situations.
Now, I don’t know what’s gonna happen to him. Maybe some other team will take a chance on him, maybe not. But he’s gotta learn his lesson. He’s gotta learn to behave himself, or he ain’t gonna have no career at all. And that’s a fact.
Remember that time back in, oh, I reckon it was 2022? He was hurt then, too. That turf toe thing. Wasn’t bad enough to keep him out for good, but it sure did slow him down. You ever stub your toe real bad? Multiple it by a hundred. I imagine that’s what happened to his toe. Imagine tryin’ to run and jump with that. No sir, that ain’t no fun.
But that’s what happens when you play them rough sports. You gonna get hurt. It’s just a matter of time. And if you ain’t careful, you can get hurt off the field, too. Like gettin’ yourself arrested. That’s a whole different kind of hurt. That’s the kind of hurt that can ruin your life. And land you with a mugshot everyone can see.

Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say about that Michael Thomas mugshot business. It’s a sad story, but it’s a lesson, too. A lesson for all them young’uns out there, playin’ sports or not. Keep your head down, work hard, and stay outta trouble. That’s the only way to make it in this world.
And this just in, I heard that suspension he got, well, they lifted it. Means he could play again, if anyone would have him. But with that mugshot and all that trouble, who knows? Maybe he should try to get on one of them reality TV shows. Seems like that’s where all the troublemakers end up these days.
