This here thing, that cole custer xfinity hauler 164, it’s a real head-scratcher, ain’t it? I seen a picture of it. It’s one of them little cars, but not a real car, ya know? Like them toy cars my grandson used to play with, only this one’s got all sorts of writin’ on it. Says “Cole Custer” and “Xfinity” and some number like “164” or somethin’ like that. Makes you wonder who this Cole fella is.

I reckon it’s got somethin’ to do with them races they got on the TV. Them NASCAR races, where the cars go round and round real fast. My old man, bless his soul, he used to love watchin’ them races. He’d holler and shout at the TV like he was right there on the track. He said it was something called the “Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series.” Now, I don’t know about no sportsman. They look like trouble to me.
I seen that Xfinity name before, too. It’s that thingamajig for the TV, ain’t it? The one where you get all them channels, more channels than you can shake a stick at. Used to be we only had three channels. These youngins today got it easy. So, maybe this Cole Custer fella is a race car driver, and Xfinity is payin’ him to drive their car. That’s how it works, right? Them companies, they pay the drivers to put their names on the cars. Like a movin’ billboard, that’s what it is.
That number, 164, I reckon that’s the size of this here toy car. Probably means it’s 164 times smaller than a real race car. Lord, I can only imagine how big those real cars are. Gotta be bigger than my whole house! I tell ya. And this Cole Custer guy, he must be a big shot to have his name on these things. Probably makes a pretty penny drivin’ them cars around. More money than I ever seen in my life, that’s for sure.
Heard he drives that 00 car, for that Stewart-Haas Racing Ford. Now Ford, that’s a good name. My nephew, he’s got a Ford truck. Drives it all over, haulin’ this and that. Says it’s the best truck he ever had. So maybe this Cole Custer, he’s got a good car, too. Gotta have a good car to win them races, I reckon. I hear he won somethin’ called the Xfinity championship. Must be a big deal. Like winnin’ the county fair pie contest, only with cars instead of pies. And faster. Much, much faster.
They say he’s married, too. To some gal named Kari. Good for him. Hope they’re happy. It ain’t easy, bein’ married to a race car driver. All that travelin’ around, never knowin’ where they’ll be from one day to the next. I guess that’s why they got them big trucks, them haulers. Carry everything they need, all over the country.

That race, the one they call the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race, I hear tell it’s a big one. This Cole Custer, he was doin’ alright, they say. Up near the front, in fourth place. Then somethin’ happened, and it all went sideways. That’s racin’ for ya. One minute you’re on top of the world, the next you’re in the ditch. Just like life, I suppose. This Cole seems to be a popular fella with the big people.
There’s four of them drivers, they say, all fightin’ for that championship. Like four roosters in a henhouse, all puffed up and ready to go. Only one of ’em can win, though. That’s the way it is. Always gotta be a winner and a loser. They sure do a lot of driving in those races. Round and round, they go. Makes my head spin just thinking about it. I like a nice slow drive myself, something calm and peaceful.
- This cole custer xfinity thing, it’s all about that fast life.
- That xfinity hauler, that’s the big truck they use to carry them cars.
- That number 164, that’s how small this here toy car is.
- This Cole Custer, he’s a race car driver, drives that number 00 car, won the championship and is married.
- He was in that big race, the championship one, doin’ good, then not so good.
- Them races got all them different names, Busch, Nationwide, all sorts.
Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say about this cole custer xfinity hauler 164 thingamajig. It’s a curious little thing, ain’t it? Reminds me of them days when my old man used to watch them races. Brings back memories, that’s for sure. Maybe I’ll have to watch one of them races again sometime. See what all the fuss is about. But for now, I think I’ll just stick to my garden. It’s a lot less noisy out there, and the only racin’ goin’ on is the weeds tryin’ to take over my tomato plants.
