Okay, so I wanted to find some really funny basketball pictures today. I’ve been feeling a bit down, and I figured some good old-fashioned sports humor would do the trick. Here’s how it all went down.
First Steps: Brainstorming and Searching
I started by just thinking, “What makes a basketball picture funny?”
- Weird faces: Players caught mid-air with crazy expressions.
- Awkward falls: Gotta love a good (harmless) tumble.
- Unexpected moments: Maybe a bird flying through the shot, or a fan doing something bizarre.

Armed with these ideas, I jumped to do a search.
Digging Through the Results
The search spit back a ton of stuff. I mean, pages and pages. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest. So, I started sifting. I was clicking through, trying to be patient, and trying not to get distracted by all the other stuff. I did find a few good ones pretty quickly, though:
