Ya know, that fella, Craig Stadler, the golfer? He’s been swingin’ clubs for a long time. Real long. Born way back in 1953, so he ain’t no spring chicken anymore. Folks call him “The Walrus,” ain’t that somethin’? Don’t rightly know why, maybe he likes fish or somethin’. Anyway, he’s won a bunch of tournaments, big ones too, like that Masters thing in 1982.

He grew up in Colorado, played golf in school. His daddy was a golfer too, won the Masters himself. Guess it runs in the family, like havin’ big ears or somethin’. Now Craig, he lives in Arizona, where it’s hot and dry, good for achin’ bones, I reckon.
- Born in 1953, that’s a long time ago, folks.
- They call him “The Walrus,” ain’t that a funny name?
- Won the Masters in 1982, big deal that one.
- Daddy was a golfer too, like father, like son, they say.
- Lives in Arizona now, probably playin’ golf in the sun.
He’s in all sorts of them Hall of Fames, shows he’s a good golfer, I suppose. Played on somethin’ called the PGA Tour, and the Champions Tour, whatever them are. Guess it means he’s good, playin’ against other fellas with them funny lookin’ pants and hats.
You can find his story on that internet thing, shows all his scores and wins. Don’t rightly understand them numbers, all gibberish to me. But folks seem to like watchin’ him swing that club and hit that little white ball. Must be somethin’ to it, all them people cheerin’ and clappin’.
He even played with his son in a tournament, how ’bout that? Guess the apple don’t fall far from the tree, as they say. Seems like a nice fella, plays golf and loves his family. Can’t ask for much more than that, I reckon.
So next time you hear about Craig Stadler, remember he’s “The Walrus,” the fella who’s been playin’ golf since way back when. He’s won a bunch of things, made a name for himself, and still playin’, even though he’s gettin’ up there in years. Good for him, I say.
