Today, I finally got my hands on that CRF250RE I’ve been eyeing. The plan? Get it ready for some serious trail riding. Let me tell you, it was a day of getting my hands dirty, and I loved every minute of it.

Getting Started
>
First things first, I got the bike up on the stand. This makes everything so much easier, you know? You’re not bending over constantly. Then, I grabbed my tools. Nothing fancy, just the basics: wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, the usual suspects.
The Nitty-Gritty
>
I started by checking the oil. It was a little low, so I topped it off. Easy peasy. Next, I moved on to the air filter. Man, was it dirty! I’m talking caked in dust and grime. I pulled it out, cleaned it thoroughly with some filter cleaner, and then re-oiled it. Gotta let that air flow, right?
Then came the chain. It was looking a bit dry and rusty, so I gave it a good cleaning with a wire brush and some chain cleaner. After that, I lubed it up nice and good. Smooth as butter now.

Next I check that tires,I was planning on going for a ride, but the tire preassure need to be checked.
- Checked Front tire preassure.
- Checked Rear tire preassure.
- Inflated to recommended levels.
Almost There

After that, I went over all the bolts and nuts, making sure everything was tight. You don’t want anything rattling loose when you’re out on the trail. I also checked the brakes and clutch, making sure they were adjusted properly. Safety first, always!
Finally, I gave the bike a good wash. All that cleaning and wrenching had left it a bit dusty. Now it’s sparkling and ready to hit the dirt. I stood back and admired my handiwork. There’s just something satisfying about getting a bike prepped and ready to go.

It has been a good day.
