Okay, so I’ve been playing this game called Dave the Diver lately, and it’s pretty fun. You dive, you catch fish, you run a sushi restaurant. But let me tell you, the real money is in the pearls. I figured out how to make some serious cash selling these things, so I wanted to share my process with you all.
First off, you gotta find the pearls. They’re not just lying around everywhere, you know? You have to look for oysters. Most of the time, these oysters are just sitting there on the seabed or maybe stuck to some rocks. They’re pretty easy to spot once you know what you’re looking for. They look like, well, oysters. You will know they are not regular decorations because they have a little shine.
Once I find an oyster, I swim up to it and interact with it, and Dave will do his thing and pry it open. Sometimes, there’s a pearl inside! It’s always a nice little surprise when you find one, felt like I was quite lucky.
- Find the oysters. They are usually at the bottom of the sea.
- Open them up. This part is simple in the game.
- Collect pearls. If there is one inside.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting. You can’t just sell these pearls to anyone. You need to find the right buyer. In the game, there’s this guy named Cobra, and he runs a shop. The problem was I cannot sell them to him! I had to figure out why.
Turns out you can only sell them to Cobra after you have finished the story in the Limestone Cave. I went to the cave, and found some interesting murals, and I had to take photos of them. Then I got back and reported to Bacon, and I got a camera upgrade for taking better quality photos. This part got me stuck for a while, but I finally figured it out. Then I got some missions to run from Cobra. After a while, Cobra told me that he is going to open a new shop!
After the cutscene, I went to Cobra, and I was finally able to sell those pearls! It’s not like selling fish where you just put them in your inventory and sell them at the restaurant. It was a bit of a hassle to find this out, but let me tell you, it’s worth it. Pearls sell for a lot of money.
