Gearing Up and Jumping In
Alright, so the reset happened. First thing I did was log in, check what the featured raid was this week. Okay, cool. It’s one I know reasonably well, which is always a relief. Saves me having to watch a bunch of guide videos again, you know?

Next step, always the same: gotta find a team. My usual clan mates weren’t all online, typical Tuesday scatter. So, off to the LFG zoo I went. Spent a good chunk of time scrolling through posts. Some wanting crazy experience levels, others just saying “chill run”. You never really know what you’re gonna get with those.
Finding a Squad and Getting Started
Found a post that looked promising. “KWTD but be chill”. Okay, sounds like my speed. Joined their voice chat. Usual round of “mic check?” and shuffling around in the Tower while waiting for the last person. Someone always takes forever sorting their inventory.
We finally launched. Loadouts were pretty standard for this one. I stuck with my trusty Solar setup. Can’t go wrong with Well of Radiance, keeps people alive when things get hairy, which they usually do.
The Encounters – Ups and Downs
First couple of encounters went smoother than expected. Everyone seemed to know the basic mechanics. Had one little hiccup on the second part, someone missed a callout, led to a quick wipe. No big deal, happens to everyone. We just reset and got it the next try.
Then we hit that encounter. You know the one. The one that always seems to trip teams up. Communication has to be spot on. We struggled here for a bit. A few wipes, mostly due to people talking over each other or getting flustered. Had to take a quick breather, re-assign roles very clearly.

- Assigning clear jobs: Made sure everyone knew exactly what they were watching or calling out.
- Keeping comms concise: Tried to get people to only say what was needed. Less chatter, less confusion.
- Patience: Reminded everyone that wiping isn’t the end of the world. Just learn and go again.
It took a few more pulls, but we eventually cleared it. Felt good to get past that wall.
The Final Boss and Loot
The final boss area. Always feels epic stepping in here. This fight requires good timing and everyone doing their part. We were actually pretty dialed in for this. Maybe the struggle on the previous encounter focused everyone up.
DPS phases felt solid. We weren’t breaking any speed records, but it was consistent progress. No major mistakes, just clean execution. Downed the boss without too much drama, which was nice for a change.
Then came the loot chest. Always that moment of anticipation, right? Didn’t get the specific weapon roll I was chasing this week, naturally. Got some Spoils, a couple of armor pieces I didn’t really need. Standard Destiny luck, eh? Still, a clear is a clear.
Called it a night after that. Said GGs to the team and logged off. Another weekly raid done. It wasn’t the fastest run ever, had its bumpy moments, but we got it done. That’s the main thing. Time to see what next week brings.
