Well, let me tell you, that Homestead Miami Speedway, it’s somethin’ else. Lots of folks go there, you see, to watch them cars go round and round. They go so fast, I get dizzy just thinkin’ about it! This place, it’s always got somethin’ goin’ on, a real busy place for sure.
They got all kinds of races, them fast cars, sometimes them big trucks. I seen it on the TV sometimes, makes my head spin. You ever see one of them races? Them drivers, they’re like daredevils, ain’t scared of nothin’! Homestead, they call it, down in Florida. Hot down there, I reckon. But them races, they sure do draw a crowd.
Sometimes, them races are in November, sometimes in December. I heard someone say once they had one in February. All kinds of dates. You just gotta check, I suppose. They got them big races with fancy names, like the Straight Talk Wireless 400. Sounds important, don’t it? They go on about it all day, it seems. Starts in the afternoon, so I hear.
- November 18-20, they had a big one, Ford something, heard it on the radio.
- They got races in December too, around the 6th, I think.
- Once, they had a race in February, around the 28th.
Homestead Miami Speedway events, they’re a big deal. People come from all over, I bet. They got them fancy tickets, VIP they call ’em. Must be real nice. I reckon those tickets cost a pretty penny. Them drivers, they get cheered on somethin’ fierce.
This speedway, it ain’t no little track, neither. It’s a big one, a mile and a half long. That’s a long way for them cars to be goin’ so fast. They go around in an oval, back and forth. I wouldn’t wanna be in one of them cars, no sir! My old bones couldn’t take it.
They been havin’ races there for a long time, I reckon. Used to be called something else, I think. Homestead Motorsports Complex, maybe? But now it’s Homestead Miami Speedway, that’s what everyone calls it. They have NASCAR and IndyCar, all them fancy racin’ things. All sounds the same to me but people get excited. It is a big thing.
If you like them races, that Homestead Miami Speedway is the place to be. Just gotta find out when they’re havin’ ’em. They got all kinds of races, all year round, it seems. Lots of folks go, so it must be a good time. It is a big place, you could get lost if you are not careful.
I seen a fella once, he went to one of them races. Said it was the best time he ever had. Said the noise was somethin’ else, and the smell of the gas, and the crowd cheerin’. He got all excited just tellin’ about it. I think he drove his car there. It is easy to drive there, I guess.
They got all kinds of things at them races. I see they got those driving experiences. Folks can drive them race cars, I guess. Sounds a little scary to me, but some folks like that kind of thing. I prefer just to sit and watch. Less danger that way. These Homestead Miami Speedway events sure are popular.
They got single race tickets and multi-race packages. Means you can go to one race or a whole bunch of ’em. Whatever you want, I suppose. They got somethin’ for everyone. I guess the more races you want, the more money it is. But I am sure it is fun.

Lots of excitement, lots of noise, lots of fast cars. Just be sure to check the dates, ’cause they have races all the time, all different times. You don’t wanna miss out!
They say a fella named Tyler Reddick, he won a big race there once. He must be a good driver, I reckon. They said he clinched something, a Championship 4 berth. Sounds important. I guess he is famous. It is good that he won. These Homestead Miami Speedway events are always having winners.
