Man, it’s playoff season again! Time really flies. I was just checking out what’s up with the NFL playoff games today. It’s like a yearly ritual for me, you know?

So, I started to search around to see when the whole thing kicks off. I found that it starts with the wild-card round and it’s spread out over Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The dates change every year, so I had to make sure I got it right.
Then I went into the whole schedule thing. They don’t release it until the regular season is all wrapped up. Week 18, it’s called. That’s when they decide who’s playing who, and I saw a note that said the schedule is about to be set. It’s a whole process, and everything falls into place at the last minute. Makes it exciting, I guess!
After that, I was like, okay, let’s see what games are actually on today. I saw that the games had already started and four of them were already finished. It’s a bit of a bummer to miss those, but that’s how it goes sometimes.
I also read that there are 14 teams in the playoffs this year. And each team has something special they need to do to reach the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl is on February 9th this year. That’s a date I always have marked on my calendar.
Here’s my checklist for the games:
- Check the wild-card round dates: Got that, it’s over three days.
- Find the full schedule: They’ll set it after Week 18.
- See which games are on today: Four games already played over the weekend.
- Note the Super Bowl date: February 9th, got it!
So that’s my little adventure with the NFL playoffs today. I might have missed a few games this time around, but there’s still plenty of football left to watch. And hey, there’s always next year to catch them all!
