Makes it a real valuable thing, like an old piece of furniture that’s been passed down for generations, only shinier and faster, I reckon.
They call it a “supersport,” whatever that means. Sounds fast, don’t it? And I hear it is fast. Real fast. Like a greased pig on a downhill slope! This here bike, it changed things for that there Ducati company. Made ’em famous, like the best pie maker in the county. Before that, they was just makin’ regular bikes, I guess. But this 750 ss, it put ’em on the map.

They say it’s good on the street too, not just for racin’. That means you can ride it to the store, I guess, though I can’t imagine why you’d want to. Seems like a waste of a good fast bike to me. But what do I know? I’m just an old lady who prefers her feet on the ground.
But from what I gather, you can’t really go wrong with either of the Ducati SS models, the old ones and the newer ones. But that old 750, that’s the one that started it all, the one folks remember. Like the first bite of a good apple pie, it leaves a taste you won’t soon forget.
