You ask me about this here Fabian Marozsan ranking, that boy, I heard some, yeah. Some folks say he plays that ball game, tennis, you know. He’s from Hungary, that faraway place. He’s got a ranking, they say. What is that, you say? I don’t rightly know, it’s like how good you are at something, I reckon.

They say this Fabian, he’s won some things. Eight, I hear. Eight big deals. What are they? I don’t know, some kind of ball-hitting contests, I suppose. They call ’em titles. Sounds fancy, don’t it? He must be pretty good at hitting that little ball, huh? Eight titles! That’s a lot of somethin’. They show his “draws” on the computer, but I do not know what is that.
Now, this ranking thing, it changes, like the weather. One day he’s up, next day maybe down a bit. They say he’s number 135 now, I think. Or was that last week? Hard to keep up with these young folks and their numbers. He has many points, they say. He is not even the best in his own Hungary. There’s one boy, Zsombor, I hear, he’s 121. And another one, Marton, he’s even better. It is all confusing.
- This boy, Fabian, he’s got a number, they say.
- A ranking, they call it.
- He’s number 135, I think.
- But it changes all the time.
- Maybe tomorrow he’s a different number.
I saw somethin’ on that flashy light box, that computer thing. It said “Flashscore” or somethin’. They got all sorts of things about this Fabian on there. His scores, his wins, his losses. Even how he does on different ground, like grass or clay. Like plantin’ taters, I guess, different ground for different things. And they got his rankin’ on there too. His ATP ranking. I do not know what is ATP, but they say it is important.
This Fabian boy, he was born in 1999. That makes him… well, you do the math. He’s a young’un. He plays that game with all his might, I suppose. He is a “professional”, they say. I guess it means he makes money by playing. Good for him, I say. He has a high ranking, 36, they say. He reached it in May 2024, not long ago. They say he is getting better all the time, this Fabian.
They say this Fabian went to Rome, that’s a place, I think. He went there, and he wasn’t even a big shot. Just wanted to win one little game, they say. One qualifyin’ match. He was just 135 then, too. But he did somethin’ special, I guess. He did good. Now look at him, he’s a big deal now. He must have hit that ball real good in Rome, that’s all I can say. His Fabian Marozsan ranking was not good, but he still did very well.

He used to play with a racket from some company, but now he’s with another one. Babolat, I think they call it. A fancy name for a stick that hits a ball, if you ask me. But it must be a good one, if he’s usin’ it. He uses the Babolat Pure Aero 2023, they say. It is very good, I hear. He turned a “professional” in 2017. It is not long ago. He is still a young boy.
So, this Fabian Marozsan ranking, it’s just a number, I reckon. But it’s a number that tells you how good he is at that tennis game. And right now, that number says he’s pretty darn good. Good enough to win eight of them titles, anyway. And good enough to make a name for himself, all the way from Hungary. He’s a good boy, that Fabian, I suppose. Even if I don’t understand all them numbers and fancy words. He hits that ball good, and that’s all that matters, right?
I do not know much about him, but I know he is a good boy. He plays hard and wins. His Fabian Marozsan ranking will be better, I am sure. He will be number one, maybe. Who knows?
