Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with the 2011 Triumph 675 Daytona:

So, I finally got my hands on a 2011 Triumph 675 Daytona. I’d been eyeing this bike for a while, and let me tell you, it was a process!
The Hunt Begins
First, I scoured the internet – you know, the usual places. I spent hours looking at listings, comparing prices, and reading reviews. It was exhausting, but I was determined.
Narrowing it Down
After a few weeks, I narrowed my search down to a couple of bikes. One was a bit further away, but it looked super clean in the photos. The other was closer but had a few more miles. Tough choices, man.
The Inspection
I decided to go check out the closer one first. I met up with the seller, and we walked around the bike. I checked the tires, the chain, the brakes – all the usual stuff. I even brought along a buddy who knows more about bikes than I do, just to be safe. He gave it a good once-over, too.
Test Ride Time
Then came the best part – the test ride! I hopped on, fired it up, and took it for a spin. Man, that engine sounded sweet! I ran it through the gears, tested the brakes, and leaned into a few corners. It felt amazing.

Making the Deal
After the test ride, I was pretty much sold. We haggled over the price a little bit (gotta do it!), and eventually, we came to an agreement. I handed over the cash, and just like that, I was the proud owner of a 2011 Triumph 675 Daytona!
The Ride Home
The ride home was epic. I took the long way, just to enjoy it. I felt like a king on that thing. Seriously, the power, the handling – it’s a beast!
First Mods
- First thing I did was swap out the stock exhaust. Gotta get that growl, you know?
- Then, I added some frame sliders, just in case. Better safe than sorry.
- I also put the new tires.
Overall, getting this bike was a journey, but totally worth it. It’s an incredible machine, and I’m stoked to have it. I’m planning a bunch more rides and maybe even a track day soon. Stay tuned!
