Alright, so I wanted a cool Ronaldo GIF for my WhatsApp status. Nothing too fancy, just something to show my love for the G.O.A.T.
Finding the Raw Material
First things first, I needed some video clips. I opened up YouTube and typed in “Ronaldo best goals” and “Ronaldo skills”. Man, there’s so much stuff out there! I spent a good while just watching, you know, “for research”.
I picked a few videos that had some really sick moments – a bicycle kick, a crazy dribble, and of course, the iconic “Siuuu” celebration.
Getting the Clips
I could not copy the video directly, so I just recorded my screen, that worked just fine.
Making the GIF (The Fun Part)
Time to turn this footage into a GIF. I’ve used some website before, so I opened it. It’s pretty straightforward, really.
Then, I do following step by step.
- I uploaded the video clips I downloaded.
- I trimmed each clip to just the part I wanted. You know, get rid of the boring bits.
- I played around with the start and end times until it looked just right. Gotta get that perfect loop.
- I added text “CR7 THE G.O.A.T”.
- Finally, I hit that “Create GIF” button.
The Final Touch-Up
Boom! There it was, my very own Ronaldo GIF. It wasn’t perfect, mind you. The quality was a little, eh, but hey, it worked. I downloaded the GIF to my computer and that’s pretty much how I made a GIF of Ronaldo.
