Okay, so yesterday I was trying to figure out where to vote in Freehold, NJ. It was kinda a pain, but I finally got it sorted. Let me walk you through what I did.

First thing, I hit up Google, right? Typed in “Freehold NJ voting locations.” Tons of links popped up, mostly official-looking government websites. Figured that’s where I needed to start. I clicked on the Monmouth County Board of Elections website, looked legit.
Alright, now to actually find the info. This is where it got a little tricky. The website wasn’t super user-friendly, you know? I started poking around for a “polling locations” or “where to vote” section. Took a few minutes of scrolling and clicking, but I finally found a PDF document with a list of all the polling places in Monmouth County.
Big PDF, pages and pages. I scrolled through until I found the Freehold section. Each district was listed, and next to it was the address of the polling place. Had to figure out which district I was in first. That part was annoying. I remembered getting something in the mail a while back, like a voter registration card or something. Dug through my junk drawer (yeah, I have one of those) and bingo! Found it. My district number was right there on the card.
Okay, so I knew my district, I knew the address of the polling place. But still, I wanted to be double-sure. I hopped back on Google Maps, typed in the address, just to get a visual. Wanted to make sure it was somewhere I recognized and knew how to get to. Plus, I checked the street view to see if there was any obvious signage or anything. Good to go.
To recap: Searched online, found the official county election website, located the list of polling places, figured out my district from my voter registration card, and confirmed the location with Google Maps. Seemed like a lot of steps just to find out where to vote, but better safe than sorry, right?

Couple of things I learned: Always keep your voter registration card handy! Makes things so much easier. And don’t be afraid to dig around on government websites, even if they look a little clunky. The info is usually there somewhere. Also, double-checking on Google Maps is always a good idea, just to be extra sure.
- Start with Google
- Find official election website
- Locate list of polling places
- Determine your district
- Confirm location on Google Maps
Hope this helps someone else out there trying to figure out where to vote in Freehold! Good luck and get out there and vote!
